This is a southbound motorway rest area with extensive views, public toilets and showers, plus a small supermarket, Costa, McDonald’s and a petrol station. Overnight parking costs £15 through WHSmith, while showers are free with a car key deposit and have clean, warm water with no time limit. Parking is free for up to 2 hours. Costa and McDonald’s are open 24 hours.

Nice and lively place. Shower still available for free. You just give your car key as a deposit. Clean, water is warm enough, no time limit.

Southbound services. Quick stopover for a nice hot shower, push button and clean enough. Just hand your keys in at WHSmith and ask for the shower key. Can park up to 2hrs for free. Space to hang your stuff to keep things dry, no toilet in the cubicles but sink.
It is not longer possible to pay for a van or motorhome via the app. Besides you need an English phone number for app registration. You have to pay 30£ !! for overnight parking at the WH supermarket and get a free shower + 10£ back as a food voucher. Never the less it’s a beautiful place next to a lake.

Perfect! The shower is clean, the water very hot, there are coat hooks, a place for belongings, and a sink. The showers are next to the toilets (opposite McDonald's); ask for the key at the WHS counter and leave something as a deposit (key or other item).
