Unnamed Road, 23020, Lanzada
Been here?
This large gravel parking area beside Lago di Alpe Gera has beautiful views and starts several hiking routes. It is paid at 0.50€/h from 8.00 to 20.00, with dry toilets, picnic tables and grills. Days can be crowded but nights are generally calm and cold. Access is narrow and tortuous, with one-way tunnels and tight hairpins, making it difficult or unsuitable for some motorhomes.

Paid parking (coins, card and app) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Very busy during the day. Toilets and barbecues available. The final stretch of road to the parking area, preferably tackled during the day, is winding, with narrow one-way tunnels and particularly tight hairpin bends. With vehicles up to 7.5 m, you sometimes need to reverse around the bends.Translating
Paid parking, perfect, wonderful spot. There are no bins, so please be considerate and take your rubbish with you. The road to get there is quite winding.Translating
Peaceful place with cold nights, picnic tables and toilets available. Ibex can be seen on the dirt road behind the parking area. The only downside is the inconsiderate hikers who stop with their engines and air conditioning running.Translating
Large parking area, 2 dry toilets, tables and grills. Paid parking (€0.50/hour) from 8:00 to 20:00. Narrow, challenging but passable access road. With a camper, it is better to arrive during the week. Magical place. Starting point for hikes.Translating
Lots of space with seating areas and 2 toilets. Several campers stayed here. Beautiful view. Paid from 9:00 to 20:00, maximum €6.Translating
Beautiful place, but the approach is not suitable for motorhomes!Translating
Quiet place; camping is tolerated. The walk on the glacier is truly beautiful and highly recommended. It gets full during the day but empties in the evening. There are also several spots here and there, including farther downhill.Translating
We spent the night there; it was fairly cold but extremely peaceful!Translating
A five-star place if it weren't for the rubbish scattered around. The picnic tables and surrounding areas were very dirty, with pasta on the ground and table, tea bags, eggshells, plastic, etc. Toilet paper was scattered everywhere, even though very convenient toilets are available. Anyone who visits these places should at least have the decency to take their rubbish with them.Translating
Very large parking area from which many hiking trails start. It is better to make the ascent in the late afternoon when there is less traffic, as there are many bends. Paid from 9:00 to 19:00 and costs €1/hour. The view of the lake is beautiful and we slept very peacefully.Translating
Parking with a huge number of vans, as well as tents. A beautiful place to sleep, with trails leading to the glacier or the surrounding mountain huts, each more beautiful than the last.Translating
We stayed 3 days during the week, quite crowded during the days but calm at nights. Great place for hiking and climbing but swimming is not possible. The journey up with our small camper was so so. We enjoy it very much and would like to come back, still many routes to climb. Translating
We were there on 18 November; there was no need to pay at that time. Be careful if you go in winter because the road has endless curves and may have ice or snow, and it was busy when we went up. There are toilets, which we did not use. Unbeatable views and peace and quiet.Translating
