Town parking, market-day closures

Very well located for visiting the city of Tours on foot. Lots of space and shade. We did not sleep there because tomorrow, Sunday, is market day.✦Translating

15 minutes on foot from the historic center and close to the train station. Free parking, except on market days. Lots of vacant spaces. We only spent the day there, so it was great for visiting the city.✦Translating

Excellent location for visiting the city center, reachable by bicycle in 5 minutes. Unsure whether to stay for the night, at dinner time around 7:30 p.m. we noticed obvious drug dealing in broad daylight. Not recommended in the evening or at night.✦Translating

Perfect for visiting the city, the only place we found suitable for a 7.5 m motorhome. Quiet neighborhood with some passing traffic. We left the motorhome here without any problems. Recommended. About €4 for 3 hours.✦Translating

Good parking area; we spent only two hours visiting the city and everything went well. No problems. Weekday, busy area.✦Translating

We had a difficult night as there was a group of people until the early hours chatting, playing very loud music from a sound system, and joy riding a motorbike, hand on horn, around the empty car park. They seemed intent on disturbing the whole town. We didn't really feel threatened but you can't just sleep through something like this. Maybe a one-off, but be warned. Not near the centre either.

We parked very easily. Since you cannot park in the middle of the square, there is room to maneuver. Ideal for visiting Tours and leaving afterward. We had a 7-meter motorhome and parked it perfectly. Close to the center on foot, about 1.5 km away. It was not full; the previous comment is from May 5, a holiday in Tours, which is why it was full.
