Been here?
Tulipán Kemping is a simple, clean and functional campsite near the town and the Valley of the Beautiful Women. Recent stays describe pitches on gravel, some sloping areas requiring levelling wedges, and a peaceful location about 25min from the market. Toilets and showers are basic but clean, with hot water, electricity and other essential facilities available; Wi-Fi is poor. Payment can be made through an app, while the nearest shop is approximately 1km away on hilly ground.

Basic campsite for visiting the city, 25 minutes from the market. The Valley of Beautiful Women is right next door. Showers and toilets are very basic but clean and functional. The simple online booking was a positive.
Pleasant campsite (hot water, friendly staff, outdoor kitchen, fencing, cleanliness, etc.) for visiting the city, which surprised us. The only two shortcomings are poor Wi-Fi and lots of slope when parking—you need levelling ramps to get reasonably level. They offer a discount at the neighbouring hotel, which has a swimming pool.
Nice campsite for visiting Eger and the Valley of the Beautiful Women. Clean sanitary facilities. There is also a bar.
Perfect for exploring the area. Everything is very clean and practical.
Well laid out and in a perfect location for the neighbouring wine village. Sanitary facilities absolutely fine.
If you want it as a review in English: A very good campsite with all the basic facilities you need when you're mainly visiting the city. The staff are very friendly, the toilets are clean, and everything you need is available on site.
We were here three years ago. Back then it was a lovely place with lots of greenery, and the pitches, although small, were on grass. The pitches also had privacy screens made by hedges. We no longer like this gravel site at all. What a shame.
This is definitely not a campsite, but a gravel parking area—a Stellplatz. The sanitary facilities are clean and the owner takes care of the area. There is no snack bar, restaurant, or even a vending machine for drinks or snacks, while the nearest shop is about 1 km away over hilly terrain, which may be a problem for seniors. We also missed facilities for children, such as a small sandbox or at least some climbing equipment. Only suitable for caravans shorter than 8 metres.
Payment by app, clean and quiet. Close to the square with troglodyte restaurants. 2 identical campsites next to each other at the same price.
Good and comprehensive service, good communication, some pitches are sloping, we will return :)
Ideal overnight spot for visiting the attractive town and the Valley of the Beautiful Women (a tourist wine region). Easy access and payment via a website. Water and waste services work without problems. The grounds are slightly sloping but manageable. The sanitary facilities are old but clean.
Not a fan of the access - the QR code was a right old faff. Sleep was peaceful. Location is great. Good campervan facilities. The bathrooms were well maintained and clean. Maybe a little too maintained as the men's was locked from 10:00-11:30 (check out is 12:00). It would be weird if you paid for a hotel room and they closed the bathroom in the morning.
The site itself is okay, and the location is great. But it is a pure rip-off site. The people are extremely unfriendly at every level! Booking system… What madness! Especially in the setting of beautiful rural Hungary. We were woken before eight in the morning by the operators doing garden work. How inconsiderate can you be? Sloping pitches, sharp coarse stones, run-down facilities for €30!
We booked online in front of the gate because the reception was unstaffed. The booking system is well designed in several languages. One night including electricity and a hot shower for two adults cost €30. The pitches are really small, more a parking area than a campsite. Water and waste services are well arranged. Toilets and showers are adequate, and cleanliness was okay. Everything is within walking distance. It was very quiet at night.
There are actually only about 30 pitches available now. The pitches are very small. At some pitches there is only one metre in front of the motorhome for tables and chairs. The sanitary facilities are very old and not very clean. The waste disposal station is good. However, I would not fill up here. The price is far too high for what is offered.
Okay and clean overall, although rather narrow and with little greenery or shade. Good for visiting Eger, though not exactly cheap.
Registration is possible in advance or on site via the website, with direct access to the Valley of the Beautiful Women and within walking distance of the city centre. Covered kitchen and common area, clean sanitary facilities, fresh water available, and grey- and black-water disposal possible.
We stayed two nights, €30 per night for two people and a motorhome. The truth is that the price leaves a lot to be desired: the pitches are small, so it is difficult to take your things out and set up comfortably. They are not completely level. They allow the campsite to become overcrowded, without respecting space between pitches. If you do not need service facilities, we recommend the AC parking area below.
Campsite with very small pitches, nobody at reception, and check-in has to be done online. When you enter, you find a car in the space you reserved and there is nobody to turn to. There is a phone number, but nobody answers; then they call you back and hang up. I had to go to the vehicle's owner myself and tell him he was in my space. To top it off, payment with my card was rejected, and in the morning they were there to collect the money—there is staff for that. Awful.
I went to the campsite entrance yesterday. I should say that I already knew this campsite, having visited in previous years. I was surprised to find the gate closed with a QR code displayed on the barrier. I was asked to scan the code with my smartphone to obtain a pitch. After several attempts, I was unable to complete my request for two nights. Visually, the campsite has been reduced by half in size and many trees have been cut down. It no longer seems to be the friendly campsite we knew, but rather a motorhome parking area like so many others. I therefore had to turn around and find parking in town. I am disappointed.
The site is fine for one night while visiting Eger. The sanitary facilities are okay. But the gravel pitches are not very good; something should be done about them.
Nice campsite, a three-minute walk from the wine cellars in the Valley of the Beautiful Lady, clean and well maintained, 1.5 km from the Old Town. Highly recommended. You have to make an online reservation to enter.
Nice small motorhome parking area close to the centre. Online booking did not work for us, but a phone call was enough. Very friendly operator who also spoke German. Showers and toilets clean and adequate. The Valley of the Beautiful Women (wine cellars) is just around the corner.
There is probably everything a person needs here. We stayed two nights and it was quiet. The price is a little high, but we recommend it.
We liked it very much: peace and quiet. We stayed here for two nights in May. Clean toilets, and a place to fill the tank and empty the toilet. A wonderful place to start a trip to the city and the Valley of the Beautiful Lady. It suited us, although this is no longer the campsite most people remember; it is more of a motorhome parking area. Reservation online or by phone at the gate. We recommend it. Rapcia team.
Clean, tidy, and located in a quiet place. Online booking is possible. 12,000 HUF per motorhome, for up to six people. We will return.
The site is now a self-service parking area, open 24/7/365. Bookable only online (it can still be done at short notice on site), after which you receive a code for the entrance gate by email. Excellent location, only 350 m from the Valley of the Beautiful Women with countless wine cellars and restaurants. Definitely worth seeing, as is the town. Gravel pitches, otherwise lots of greenery. €30 per night for one or two nights, then €25. Clean sanitary facilities, electricity and shower included.
Great site, friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities, excellent location for the town and the Valley of the Beautiful Woman.
