Been here?
This campsite is directly beside the sea, with large, neat pitches, beach access and a well-maintained adventure playground. Toilets and sanitary facilities are generally clean, although showers cost extra and some facilities are dated. The adjoining Dat Strandhus restaurant and entrance snack stand provide food, while dogs are welcome and walking and cycling start from the site. Road traffic can be heavy and noisy, and mobile reception and campsite Wi-Fi are poor. The site is closed from 1.11. to 31.3.

We were very satisfied and had a lovely long weekend there.
We have been happy to return here for years. It has become more expensive, as everywhere, but it is still absolutely reasonable, especially for being right by the beach. Easy with a dog! You can walk and cycle directly from the site. We stayed nine nights: large pitch, two people, one dog—€350 including the tourist tax, which is payable across the entire island. The sanitary facilities are currently being renovated.
Friendly reception and a beautifully located site. We stayed in the area close to the beach. Sanitary facilities okay, though the showers could be better maintained. Mobile reception is unfortunately very poor, and the campsite Wi-Fi is also very poor. However, the proximity to the beach and the fact that it is the low season still make the site recommendable.
The best thing about this site is the direct access to the beach. It is right beside a busy road. Sleeping without earplugs is impossible. The sanitary facilities are outdated, and having to pay extra for showers at this price is excessive in our opinion. They also use a shower-chip system.
Very nice site with large pitches and direct beach access. Very clean sanitary facilities. For two people with a camper for three nights, including electricity, showers, and tourist tax, we paid €146. Absolutely good value for money. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
We were assigned a pitch on the seaside. We saw it and immediately decided to leave. We did not like it at all; we could have eaten at the same table as the neighbors. We then spent the night a few meters farther away in the parking lot (€12). I can recommend that.
We arrived to find the gates locked. Winter closure from November 1 to March 31; this is not stated in the description.
We got a very nice pitch and stayed one night, paying €30.40 plus €14.06 tourist tax. We find the tourist tax very expensive, but otherwise everything was fine. The sanitary facilities were very clean; a shower token costs €1.50 for three minutes.
The site is as described and tidy. It is a shame that you cannot see the sea on one side, while the other side faces the road. Although you cannot really hear the road, the wind makes its own noise.
Super-clean campsite. Friendly staff. Clean sanitary facilities. Highly recommended.
Well organized; this is our second time here. It is somewhat fuller this year than in May last year, but the site is clean and the sanitary facilities are well maintained. There are beach access points every few meters. Buses run directly along the road in all directions. We will definitely return.
Very nice site right by the water. Dogs are no problem here and can also go to the water. Electricity costs not €3.50, but €0.90 per kWh.
Great campsite with very friendly staff. Beautiful, spacious, and above all large pitches. Clean sanitary facilities and disposal station. Quiet hours from 1–3 p.m. (no entry). Fresh-water points throughout the nicely laid-out site. Supervised beach with shallow water, ideal for children. Small kebab shop with a friendly owner; the food was tasty. Prices are a little high but acceptable.
Very beautiful campsite directly by the water. Very friendly staff. We will return.
Very clean site and the staff are extremely friendly. The beach is directly in front of the site.
Rather unfriendly reception. The location is good, but the beach is unfortunately covered with seaweed everywhere. The playground is beautiful and suitable for smaller children too. The sanitary facilities are rather dirty, and the electricity hookups are too far away; cables longer than 25 m are advisable.
Two nights, June 13–14. Neat and well maintained. €82 for two people, camper, electricity, four shower tokens, and tourist tax included. That is why three stars. We stayed on cheaper pitches where we had to cross the road. Beautiful beach. Very clean sanitary facilities.
Super beautiful site; we have now been there three times. A few meters from the sea, with clean showers and toilets. Fresh water is available around the site. Be aware that the electricity cable may need to be very long depending on the pitch. A restaurant with good food is within walking distance. All in all, a great site.
Great pitch; we stayed for two nights. Clean sanitary facilities and nice operators. Shower tokens are readily available at reception. In the low season we paid €16 for two people and one camper. We will return!
Beach just over the dune, the road in front is not loud once the day s over. Spontaneously checked in for a couple of days, prices relatively high but it’s well serviced. The playground is major fun, the beach n water clarity amazing! Pitches are spacious n well kept. We d come back!
