8 Allée de Garonne, 31210, Gourdan-Polignan
Been here?
This is a large riverside picnic area beside the Garonne, with tables, benches, greenery and bins. Recent reports describe it as quiet and suitable for an overnight stop, but it is adjacent to houses and accessed through a residential estate. It is also considered suitable for a ten-minute break rather than a stopover, and there are no camper services.

Currently parked here and it doesnt feel great so moving on shortly. You have to navigate through a residential estate to find it and it is more or less adjacent to peoples houses. I can’t imagine they’d be keen if it got busy. Ok for a ten min cuppa by the river but not a stopover.
Nice place for one night. The local residents have barbecues but are very friendly and cordial. Clean, green place with bins, and the Garonne is just below. Thank you.Translating
Spacious spot on the banks of the Garonne! Bins, a barbecue, and toilets are available. Very quiet at this time of year! Several benches and tables. Very friendly local residents. A bakery right next door for breakfast!Translating
Very nice, peaceful place by the water with a picnic table. We spent the night there with a large motorhome—excellent and perfect for a short stay, as there are no facilities. The village center is a perfect five-minute walk away.Translating
We had a very pleasant night. Almost no traffic. Wonderful panorama with the river. Plenty of space, seating, and bins available.Translating
A good place for a picnic stop or overnight stay, located along the Garonne. Be aware that swimming is not permitted. There are several picnic tables. Parking is possible on the road alongside the developed area. No height restriction.Translating
Quiet place to spend the night. In April we were alone and slept with the river in the background! Recommended.Translating
We confirm that it is a very beautiful and quiet spot. No problems sleeping, with plenty of space. A small clarification: there is indeed a small 2 m bridge to access it from one side, but there is also another much more open access from the other side.Translating
A very beautiful, peaceful place with picnic tables and bins, overlooking the Garonne.Translating
