7-27 Quai du Canal, 25110, Baume-les-Dames
Been here?
Gravel parking for 36 motorhomes directly on the canal in Baume-les-Dames, about 25 minutes' walk from the town center. Costs €15–16 per night including electricity; showers and WC are paid separately. Vehicles longer than 9 meters may struggle with the narrow entrance. Reception is open evenings from 6 pm, though payment by letterbox is an option. A baker delivers fresh croissants each morning at 8 am, and the setting suits dog owners well.

Excellent value for money: €15 including electricity plus €0.66 tourist tax per person. Toilet and shower available. The shower costs extra, so we did not use it. Otherwise, an excellent service area. You can walk to the pleasant town center in about 25 minutes. The site is by a small harbor with a cozy restaurant. A baker comes by every morning at 8.Translating
A transit site well known among many motorhomers, beautifully located and easy to access, with nice pitches. The baker honks at 8 and sells delicious croissants. The sanitary facilities and sink are disgusting, though. It is therefore a little too expensive.Translating
Very good. All services are available and everything is clean. We stayed one night but will return.Translating
Very quiet place beside the canal. We arrived in the afternoon. The baker comes at 8 a.m. and announces himself with the horn. The children enjoyed running around, but we found no nearby playground. Toilet and shower cost extra; there is a dishwashing area. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and there was a man at reception. Partly shaded, depending on the pitch.Translating
We stayed here one night while passing through. Straightforward and clean: arrive, choose a pitch, plug in the electricity. The friendly lady comes around in the evening and morning to collect payment. Showers cost €3. Night with electricity €16.25. Excellent.Translating
A pleasant area. Clean toilet. The pitch is large. A bakery comes by at 8:00 in the morning; the bread is very good.Translating
Nice site; wheel chocks are required in some places. We did not use the additional paid services. €16.32 for two people per night. As dog owners, we found the free-roaming, intrusive rooster and his two hens annoying.Translating
A great place, not just for an overnight stay.Translating
We used this site while passing through. Did not use the shower; the toilet was very borderline. The baker comes by in the morning.Translating
Great place, spacious, beautiful surroundings. We skipped the €3 shower. The baker has delicious croissants.Translating
We used this beautifully landscaped site twice while passing through. We think it is great: close to the motorway, quiet, and excellent for walking the dogs. We did not use the toilets or showers.Translating
Beautifully located, especially useful if something happens to your motorhome: in the next village, Autechaux, there is an excellent truck workshop, Mécanique et Distribution Baumoise, which replaced our camper’s fan belt perfectly and at a fair price!Translating
Very nice and quiet motorhome site. Good location! Toilets and showers not fit for use!!! Therefore only 3 stars. Pitch and service facilities are very good. Waste disposal and electricity: 4 stars. Price: in my opinion, €16.30 is too high without usable toilets and showers.Translating
Magnificent, quiet, welcoming place.Translating
Fine for one night, but poor value for money. The €3 shower for five minutes of lukewarm water is too expensive. There are also no surfaces to put things on, so clothes can get wet. Some people arrive after 7 p.m. and leave early to avoid paying.Translating
The site is in a beautiful location. Water and waste disposal, as well as electricity, are included in the not-cheapest price of €16.30. The available toilets and shower are not to my taste. Overall, okay.Translating
A really nice site with everything you need. There are large and smaller pitches, with free choice. Vehicles with trailers naturally need two pitches; some people also cannot recognize the markings. Supermarket 500 m away, and lovely for cycling.Translating
Why would you pay full price without water services. I thought these paid sites guaranteed water in winter. Translating
We are here on 5 December 2025. Adequate for motorhomers. About €16 per night for vehicle and two people. Water and waste disposal, electricity included. However, the water is currently turned off due to frost risk. Otherwise, the toilet and even shower could be used—if, yes, if they were not defective. Staff are present for one hour from 8:00 a.m. and again from 5:00 p.m.Translating
What a great motorhome site! Clean, with electricity and excellent service facilities. €16.32 per night is a good price for this exceptionally beautiful site. Very friendly operator. Absolutely recommended!Translating
Very nice place and quiet night. Payed 15 Euros plus tax with electricity. One toilet open. Nice walks along the river and 20 m. walk to the Centre. Translating
We spent one night. €16.32. Squat toilets, no heating, terrible shower. Above all, there was no water for filling up—the tap was turned off. Expensive for no services. Only suitable for sleeping.Translating
Nice motorhome site, close to town. Clean and fresh. Basic stainless-steel toilets.Translating
A really beautiful site with lots of greenery all around. A canal and the river are very close by. Boats are moored in the canal. Simply lovely for walking the dog. It was very quiet at night. Water and waste disposal, plus electricity, included on site. Super U supermarket within walking distance, with everything you could want. We would gladly return.Translating
The bridge over the Doubs from the town to the site is closed!! A considerable detour is required.Translating
We used the site while passing through. The baker also came on Sunday. Very nice lady at reception from 6 p.m. Electricity worked perfectly, as did the water and waste facilities.Translating
Nice site near the canal, though without a view of it, in green surroundings. Views of the mountains. The town was disappointing; the €3 shower was too expensive, in my opinion.Translating
Site in spectacular scenery. Quiet. Ideal for hiking. The bathrooms could be improved. In the mornings, around 8, the baker comes with very tasty products.Translating
A really beautifully located site with everything you need! And €16.32 including electricity is unbeatable these days! We would come back anytime.Translating
Established site, beautifully located by the canal, quiet, with decent sanitary facilities, functioning water and waste services, and a bakery van on site in the morning. Recommended for a stopover.Translating
A very decent motorhome area. We spent one quiet night, close to the canal. €16 per night.Translating
A small clarification: emptying, black water, and fresh water are freely accessible.Translating
An outstanding area thanks to its location near the canal and the Doubs, its value for money with everything included, the quality of its pitches, and its exceptionally pleasant welcome. Thanks to the municipality for these services!Translating
Beautiful area; unfortunately, there is only one dumping station.Translating
Tree-lined, clean pitches, with water access and waste disposal. Baker comes by with bread and pain au chocolat at 8 a.m. Excellent.Translating
We only emptied our tanks because the vacation was ending. We did not take on water, but were forced to pay the €3 as if we had filled up. The man was not friendly.Translating
Excellent for emptying and filling only.Translating
Close to the motorway and supermarket. Very convenient and beside a canal. Perfect for resting overnight.Translating
Excellent place on the road to Strasbourg. The entrance is slightly inconvenient for large motorhomes. Fair price.Translating
Very good site for one night. Electricity, water, and waste disposal all available. €16.75 is a reasonable price. Did not test the showers or toilets.Translating
The location and surroundings are really beautiful: quiet and surrounded by nature. We were somewhat surprised that for €16 there is only a pit toilet, no hot water for washing dishes, and showers cost an additional €3. Nevertheless, recommended for a stopover.Translating
Beautiful and peaceful place, but beware: currently, on 8 August 2025, the nearest motorway exit, number 5, is closed in both directions.Translating
Nice and quiet motorhome site, well suited for one night while passing through.Translating
Very quiet place right beside the canal. You arrive and plug in; later in the afternoon the attendant comes and you pay then. We spent a wonderful night. As another review says, it is a bit tight to maneuver with large motorhomes; very large ones are simply impossible.Translating
Perfect as always when passing through; pleasant site with many spacious pitches and electricity. Quiet and peaceful.Translating
Nice and convenient. Shower tokens must be bought in the evening when the lady is at reception. The municipal workers’ premises next door start mowing and trimming at 8 a.m.Translating
