Przełęcz Tąpadła, 55-050, Sobótka
Been here?
This paid public parking area lies in the forest on a mountain pass at 437 m, with benches, tables and a very basic toilet. The sloping ground can make parking inconvenient, but the site is a starting point for hiking or cycling toward Ślęża, whose summit is at 800 m. It becomes busy during weekend daylight hours, and nearby music may continue on Saturday evening or night. Weeknights are generally quieter.

We park here at first when we want to go to Ślężą mountain. It’s great starting point for the easiest and quickest route (about 1 hour). It was crowded as it was Sunday - Ślężą is a very popular place for weekends. For the night we decided that the parking across the street (away from the main road) will be much better for a longer stay.
Not a good place to camp. Lots of people on weekends. Road nearby. Noisy area. It might be okay for an overnight stop while passing through, but only on weekdays.
Perfect for anyone who likes sleeping at a very steep angle..! Quite peaceful nevertheless.
A peaceful place with a good location for starting a hike. On days off, there may be problems finding a parking space because of the crowds. However, after sunset, only a few people remain. The nearest shop is in Sulistrowiczki. In winter, be careful of ice in the parking area. Getting out can be difficult; consider carrying chains or a bag of sand.
