Castle parking, steep approach

An exemplary site. Overlooking San Marino and it's environs. Although steep to get to, the reward of the view is wonderful. Flat at the top with bins. A great spot to use if you are about to catch the ferry to/ from Ancona to Greece. Probably 7 foot is the max size van that would fit. Police drove by but no issues.

Incredibly beautiful spot. Quite quiet at night and only slightly busier in the morning. The view of the valley and San Marino is especially wonderful at sunrise. A walk through the castle rounds off the stay.✦Translating

We slept in a Maggiolina. Nice parking area with an excellent view, especially in the evening! Some cars come and go during the evening, but otherwise it is quiet.✦Translating

What a beautiful place! It is a steep but short climb up, but perfectly manageable. The view is beautiful in every direction because you are on a ridge between two small mountain peaks. It can get somewhat busy with people coming to see the view, but we had a very peaceful night. In short: beautiful and quiet.✦Translating

Excellent view and reasonably calm and also no mosquitos. Another car was present but left at 23:00, then at 02:30 a few guys in a car stopped buy (? restaurant nearby closing) but left after a few minutes, other than that was all alone.

We stayed overnight at this spot on 24 April 2024. We were completely alone in front of the castle gate, with a great view; the restaurant was closed. The approach is somewhat steep but manageable. Very little traffic.✦Translating
