Unnamed Road, 8800, Viborg
Been here?
A quiet gravel parking area beside Hald Sø, reached by a well-paved gravel road and offering space for 4-5 vans. The ground is somewhat uneven and sloped, with a compost toilet, bins, picnic tables, barbecue facilities and hiking routes. The lake is suitable for swimming, with clean water and a sandy beach. It is often busy with swimmers and can have vehicle and pedestrian activity late at night and early in the morning.

The site is easy to reach and quietly located. Busy in the evening and morning, but if you park at the edge it is absolutely no problem.
Very quiet but quite sloping, and it was raining heavily when we were there, so we preferred to leave because of the proximity to the water.
The place is pleasant, with hiking trails starting nearby. Unfortunately, there is activity in the parking area late in the evening and very early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep well here.
Lovely place, which we often return to. A very good swimming lake with sandy beach and clean water. Cycling and hiking opportunities.
Wonderful. The road to get there is a little rough, but the place is beautiful and the walks nearby are equally lovely. Toilets, picnic tables and a barbecue are available. Swimmable lake. Unfortunately, the sauna is reserved for members of the swimming club. Spacious and very quiet parking area. Slightly sloping.
Wonderful spot. There are tables outside. Locals come to jump into the icy water, then in the sauna. Brilliant.
The place is really busy at all times of day and night, so be sure to park as space-efficiently and considerately as possible! A beautiful place, a beautiful lake, wonderful!
Beautiful little gem, with a toilet and rubbish bin. My favorite place ❤️
Dirt-and-gravel parking area on a slope, but you can find a level spot under the trees. Occasionally an acorn falls onto the car.
Beautiful spot to stay. I was there on a Friday night and seems it’s a bit of a cold swim place,so a bit of noise from cars and people, late and early. I left at about 5:30 and someone had already been in for a swim/dip,it was cold and he was steaming!! Toilet/bins/good walks around the lake. Ps a flock of geese decided to take off about 2:00 in the morning ?
Nice place to take a break. Because of the swimmers, there was constant coming and going during our visit. At the lake there are several benches and tables, as well as a pit toilet. I think you could also spend a night here.
