Spacious area, no electricity

Good location for visiting the Covadonga lakes. Note that you must reserve a shuttle bus to go up, as private vehicles are not allowed. There are only a few places for campers, so arrive early. The campers in the other area had fines, presumably because their windows were open or they were using levelling blocks.

Few spaces and nobody, nor any way, to pay. I'll have to get up early to avoid a fine or other problem.

Considering that we pay the same price as a car, I find it very reasonable, especially since we can spend the night and empty and fill our tanks. It is not easy when it is very hot because of how close the other vehicles are.

We only spent one night. We arrived at midday and, after waiting more than an hour, I managed to get a space. Very few spaces and many people seem to stay longer than allowed, which I think is 72 hours. They are the ones who should be fined, not people who only come to sleep. With a little control it could work, and of course there should be more spaces. The village is beautiful—one to revisit.

Excellent base for visiting the town, the Covadonga lakes and the Cares Route. All services available, but very close to a busy road.

Very overcrowded place. Almost impossible to find a spot. If you are not within the lines and the vehicle sticks out, you get an €80 fine. We were fined at 1:10 a.m., and by 10 a.m. the police were again issuing fines. I don't understand why a place with so much tourism doesn't provide a larger area or make things easier during holiday periods.

We had a very good night. Quiet parking beside the station. You pay €3 per day. You have to park within the marked limits or they issue fines at night.

Great aire with perfectly working facilities, thank you to the town for this. €3 per night. There are a limited number of spaces and it’s good to respect this and only park in designated MH places, the car park attendants do tell you this. Lovely town, worth a visit. It’s well lite at night and virtually flat.

Thank you to the town for these spaces at €3 for 72 hours, with all services. The town, a few minutes' walk away, is very pretty. Right next to the parking area is the bus station, which allows you to reach the lakes. The street beside it is noisy in the evening and early morning, but the night is peaceful.

Impossible to park. There is only one area for caravans, and if you park in front and occupy two parking spaces, you get fined. Several caravans already had fines today. I suppose you have to arrive early; we went at 6 p.m.

Our gratitude to the city for welcoming us so well. When we arrived and went to park the motorhome, the lady told us there were no spaces and that we would be fined if we stayed outside the marked spaces. Shortly afterwards we managed to find a space, and the service is working very well. We are very grateful for this opportunity and for the warm welcome. Thank you very much!

Great service facility thanks to the town for providing. Fresh water, grey and black all working, lovely clean facility. We couldn’t park in one of the 16 spaces they were all full. €3 to park. Services free. The parking attendants said if we parked in normal spaces and overhung the space the police would fine us. We didn’t but there were other Motorhome doing that.

We couldn't find a free space, and the ladies at the entrance told us that if we parked in another space, we risked a fine. Instead, they gave us several alternatives so we could park the motorhome and see Cangas. A town very aware of our type of tourism; we felt very welcome. Many thanks!

Finally got a spot late in the day, what I assumed was the payment hut was shut, but uneasy about no ticket on the window due to others here talking about fines

Nice spot in a parking area. €3 for the facilities.

It's good and convenient for taking the bus to the lakes in the morning, but personally, in midsummer it is difficult in the sun and with the asphalt. The town centre is within walking distance. Thanks anyway to the town of Congas.

Space beside the bus station for going up to the lakes and other destinations, next to restaurants, bars and shops in Cangas. Clean, quiet and free.

Reserved area for motorhomes in a huge parking lot. The reserved spaces are scarce for the demand. Small vehicles park in spaces intended for large motorhomes. In the end you have to park outside those spaces, risking a fine. With so much space, perhaps they could provide more motorhome spaces. The site is neither beautiful nor quiet, but it should nevertheless be appreciated.

Closed because of a fair.

We couldn't use the area because it was being used for a fair. We parked without problems in the car park opposite and spent a quiet, safe night. There was some noise at the beginning of the night because it is opposite the bus station, but afterwards there were no problems. Five minutes' walk from the centre.

Area with basic services, everything perfect, next to the bus station in case you want to go up to the lakes and Covadonga without moving the vehicle.

Very busy motorhome parking area because of the bus to Covodonga lakes but we managed to get a place in one of the 16 designated bays, lots of vans parked in the car park area. At the moment no charge to park so no charge for using the services. Pleasant wander along sella river and around the town, plenty of shops bars bakeries. Not overly noisy even though next to the road, lots of flies and assume there is a farm nearby as smelly, toilets open in bus station

This parking area does not deserve any stars. The parking spaces are limited and small vehicles occupy spaces intended for motorhomes. In addition, a pestilential smell emanates from somewhere unknown. We tried to park, but the smell made us flee!

Good area. Some spaces smelled of grey water because inconsiderate people empty it in the space instead of where it belongs. Generally good, with water and waste disposal. Very close on foot to the centre, supermarkets and bars. Right next to the bus stop.

Perfect for sleeping.

A good area for seeing the village, which is five minutes' walk from the beautiful town centre, with many shops and bars. I love it; we'll return. Very good for sleeping too.

Great spot to access from main road and into town. Unfortunately, the black water was filled to the top. At over 30C for the day, this makes it extremely unpleasant. There's a point at Monigo just over 7km away.

I agree with previous reviewers. I would add that Cangas is a very pleasant town with wide choice of restaurants etc. The parking is unbeatable if you want to catch the buses to Covadonga and lakes.

We spent one night here in our car. It was peaceful and quiet. The toilets are at the bus station, but it closes at night, so if you arrive late you cannot use them.

Noisy until around 10 p.m., then a quiet night. Ideal for large motorhomes, to take the bus to the Covadonga lakes (€9 return), and to visit Cangas. Services are free. Arr...

Very good place. I stayed during Holy Week, and it is true that I passed by on Thursday and it was very full, but on the other non-holiday days it is highly recommended: quiet and safe, just steps from Cangas's main street, with buses to Covadonga right beside it.
