This is a small, level parking area for 3/4 trucks or vans, with a superb view over Mundaka’s island and bay. Mundaka is less than 10 min away on foot, and the train runs slowly but usually stops around 23h30 and resumes around 6h. Road and occasional train noise are present, and police have warned that only parking is allowed in this nature reserve.

Practically the only place where you can park a motorhome to see Mundaka. It is even level.
Superb view over the island and Mundaka Bay. The only drawback is the train, but it stops around 11:30 p.m. and does not run again until 6 a.m. It does not pass very fast, so there is very little noise. We were almost alone.
We spent a quiet night next to another motorhome. You can hear the road, but it still lets you rest, as does the train. I imagine that during surf season it will be difficult to find a spot.
Worst decision ever. Our window was smashed while we were sleeping. There were still two or three other campers there, but it stinks and I would not recommend sleeping there, especially when there is a good swell.
Quiet place despite the railway line, with few trains at night. A major advantage is that you can walk to Mundaka; the trail runs alongside the parking area.
Stop for eating, nothing more.
It is in a nature reserve and parking is the only permitted activity. The police came and warned us.

Quiet place on the outskirts of the village for spending the night. Water fountain 20 metres away, and the village is less than a 10-minute walk.
It is not a bad place for either a campervan or motorhome. There is some slope, but do not be tempted to use stabilizers or open anything except skylights, or you will be fined. Pop-up roofs: fined. Hanging out a towel: fined. Taking out a chair: fined. Remember that this is a biosphere reserve. There is a fountain 20 metres away and a Repsol petrol station 50 metres away. Ten minutes from the village, restaurants, the harbor and shops, with a cove nearby.
Stop only for eating; the parking area is very uneven and smelled of urine. There were some benches to sit on, though. Ideal for visiting the village, but you have to walk.
The police fined us, and it also smells very bad.
Stop only to see the village. It is on the road and very uneven. The village is too small for motorhomes to enter; in summer it is practically impossible even by car.
A very peaceful and wonderful night, but the ground is extremely sloped; that is the only drawback. Otherwise, it is good for visiting the village, 8 minutes away along the path.
