Been here?
This campsite is a practical stopover near Linz, with adequately maintained sanitary facilities and well-sized, organized pitches. It is somewhat noisy because of the road, motorway and flight path, but the adjacent lake is attractive in summer. The on-site restaurant serves good food, although the site is considered expensive. The gate closes at 20:00, after which entry is possible on foot with a key.

Rather expensive, quite noisy because of the road, run-down, and only semi-clean. The restaurant at the site is delicious!
Pleasant travel stop—we enjoyed spending the night here during our journey. Well-sized, well-maintained pitches; service and waste facilities are well arranged; sanitary facilities are well maintained. Not cheap and somewhat noisy, but practical.
Nice staff; at night, between the motorway and the flight path, it is rather noisy. Sanitary facilities are okay. In summer it is surely great because the lake is right next to it. In our view, no problem for an overnight stay.
One star for the lake, which remains a lovely site. As for the rest, €45.80 per night for two people on poorly maintained and noisy grounds, with a very mediocre welcome—I do not recommend it. It is also far from the city, about an hour by public transport.
Very good, very convenient for one night, facilities okay and very friendly staff.
Uncomplicated campsite for overnight stops. Important: the gate closes at 8 p.m.; afterwards you can only enter on foot with a key. Sanitary facilities relatively new and in order. The “restaurant” is more of a pub that looks somewhat unkempt. Not a place for a longer holiday. Not very quiet because it is near the motorway.
Very friendly welcome, ideal because it is close to Linz. Clean sanitary facilities. Good-sized pitch but without separation. Lake nearby, but dogs are not allowed. We paid €38 for one van, two adults and two dogs for one night. The waste-disposal area in the middle of the campsite should be emptied.
Good campsite, clean sanitary facilities. The city centre is quite far to reach by bicycle, about 10 km. Two people, €42.30 per night, 26 August. Expensive for a camper, but we found no alternatives.
Campsite beside a lake, grassy pitch, electricity, waste disposal and water filling, clean showers and toilets. Stayed for two nights: €100 for a camper, two adults and a five-year-old child, a little expensive. Suitable for visiting Linz; a bus stop 100 metres away goes directly to the city centre.
The staff were very friendly. However, the pitches are quite small and the price is not reasonable. The sanitary facilities are new, but we were unlucky with the fellow campers. They were extremely dirty! We did not want to use the showers at all. We stayed only one night with our caravan and paid more than €60.
In August, one night for two adults with a camper, paid €42.30 including all services. Very quiet place. We enjoyed our stay.
Basically okay. Good sanitary facilities, restaurant and disposal facilities. For dog owners: the lake is a huge outdoor swimming pool, so dogs are understandably unwelcome there. The many prohibition signs are easily overlooked and therefore lead to stern reprimands. You can walk along the road, according to the operator.
Nice campsite by a small lake. We were passing through, so stayed only one night. Friendly receptionist. €30 per night for a camper, two people and electricity. Clean sanitary facilities!
Far too expensive for the service. Only the welcome is pleasant; the rest should be avoided. The motorway noise, unless you are hard of hearing, is unbearable and incessant. In addition, there was no hot water that day and no price reduction. Avoid if possible.
Disposal only possible. Otherwise very difficult in this region! For €3. Closed from 1 to 3 p.m.!
€33.90 for one night / one motorhome, two people with electricity. Clean sanitary facilities. Bus stop nearby to reach Linz city centre (€2.70 per ticket) in about twenty minutes. Indeed, with the motorway right next to it, those who do not want noise will not enjoy it. Personally, the noise did not bother me that much. Friendly reception.
The reception was friendly and nice. They answered all our questions. The instructions were also good. The sanitary area was clean and well maintained. The pitches are adequate. Laundry facilities are also available. The city is about 12–15 km away, manageable by bicycle. Connections are available. The motorway noise is less pleasant. The price is great.
Good starting point for visiting the Ars Electronica in Linz. A pleasant walk by the lake to the train, with a direct connection to Linz. The campsite has everything you need and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities, shaded pitch, and a great lake within walking distance. You can hear the motorway in the background.
