Wonderful view of the Ore Mountains. Unfortunately, the sunset was behind the trees, and we slept through the sunrise. Not a trace of mosquitoes.
very pretty place with nice view, quiet. equiped with bench and trash can. However after we arrived there were thousands of mosquitoes so we had to leave.
Exceptionally beautiful place. Disadvantage: very busy on the Saturday of Pentecost. In addition, many spaces are quite sloping.

Beautiful, quiet, free parking area where motorhomes are also allowed. Thanks to the town for that. There is a large garbage bin and a small trash can at the shelter, so the place can be kept clean. The site is not completely level, but leveling blocks solve that. We would stay here again.
Stopped here for a few days. Great place with fantastic views and walking trails. No facilities apart from rubbish bin. Nearby Hotel/restaurant at the top of the road. Quite a peaceful.

We have been here often and almost always visit this place when we are in the Ore Mountains. Motorhome parking is now explicitly permitted. The place was full overnight. Perfect for hiking and cycling.
Such a beautiful parking area. Motorhomes welcome. Great view not only from the motorhome, but also from the fairly new covered seating area.
This is exactly what a camper is looking for! Secluded with a great view, and free. We stayed for one night at the end of October 2024. Four other vehicles were there too. You need a few extra boards to level the vehicle because the site slopes. Bärenstein offers a beautiful circular trail with views. Behave properly so this place remains available.
Paved, fantastic view, very quiet location. Ideal starting point for a hike. There are even rubbish bins. We spent two very peaceful nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
