Quiet picnic area, difficult access

What a beautiful and peaceful place: shady and equipped with two picnic tables. There are also two neatly emptied bins without plastic bags, so please put your waste in a bag. The site and tables are tidy. It is on a country lane with some passing traffic, but you are not bothered by it. You have to make a leisurely uphill drive to get there; it is not suitable for large motorhomes because you also have to pass through narrow village streets. really nice spot, middle of the week in the summer i was there alone, some tractors passed by. The road through the Bescat is fine for vans, but i wouldn't risk it with anything bigger. better to take gravel road that starts by L'étable d'Ossau restaurant - it's bumpy but doable. No views in the summer due to a lot of bush and trees

Picnic/bivouac area that has become more accessible, but the climb must be done in first gear ;-). Pleasant, family-friendly spot where locals meet. The night was quiet.
