This shaded, clean and quiet nature picnic area has two picnic tables and two bins beside a rural road. Several hiking trails are nearby, while occasional traffic and farm activity have been reported. Access is difficult, with a steep approach and tight bends, making it better suited to vans than larger vehicles.

Pleasant, quiet, and clean spot. Access is a little complicated, with a steep slope in the village and tight bends. Lots of hiking trails nearby!Translating
What a beautiful and peaceful place: shady and equipped with two picnic tables. There are also two neatly emptied bins without plastic bags, so please put your waste in a bag. The site and tables are tidy. It is on a country lane with some passing traffic, but you are not bothered by it. You have to make a leisurely uphill drive to get there; it is not suitable for large motorhomes because you also have to pass through narrow village streets. But then you have a top spot!Translating
really nice spot, middle of the week in the summer i was there alone, some tractors passed by. The road through the Bescat is fine for vans, but i wouldn't risk it with anything bigger. better to take gravel road that starts by L'étable d'Ossau restaurant - it's bumpy but doable. No views in the summer due to a lot of bush and trees
Picnic/bivouac area that has become more accessible, but the climb must be done in first gear ;-). Pleasant, family-friendly spot where locals meet. The night was quiet. Keep in mind that you are surrounded by pasture and the farmers may pass by. Extremely clean area—leave no trace after your visit.Translating
