A quiet spot near a football field close to the village of Someo, in the Maggia valley — good base for hikes to Val Alzasca and the Soladino waterfall. Overnight parking isn't officially signed, and attentive locals have reported vehicles to police, with travellers sent away late at night. Fine for a daytime stop, riskier to sleep here.

A good quiet place to stop, as long as you do not attract attention. I live very close by, so I know the place well. Also excellent for enjoying the small village of Someo and taking trips in the Val Alzasca and to the Soladino waterfall.
Not a good place to spend the night. Attentive villagers inform the police and you are sent away in the middle of the night!!! Very unpleasant....
