Camping Onlycamp de l'Île

Was a bit worried when arrived. Email had said after 2pm but when we arrived the reception is shut till 4pm. We drove onto what looked like an abandoned site a few tents here & there & a shut toilet block. On further investigation there is a newer block behind trees further in which was clean & sufficient. Reception staff very friendly. Can walk into town if you want.

We spent 3 nights here. The place is quiet, there are opportunities for some activities, the sanitary facilities are clean, and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely return!

Stumbled across this place when my van unfortunately malfunctioned on the way from Paris to Annecy. There was plenty of space and the sanitary facilities were clean and all in working order. There is a lovely bar opposite the site right on the river and the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. It’s a good place to stop if you’re passing through and very worth the price.

Stay from June 13 to 16. Nice place, but a few comments to make. At the entrance, a map displays the pitch numbers, with or without electricity. It would be sensible to create proper pitches with separators. There are no numbers on site, making it difficult to find your way around. Very clean sanitary facilities. Very kind staff.

Lovely grass site 100m from the Loire. €18 a night with electric. Showers good and a very short walk to town. Reception open 9.00-10.00am and 17.00-19.00. Just turn up and find a pitch. This place is great, just don't tell anyone!

Pleasant campsite in a beautiful location, with walks and the town very close. Very clean sanitary facilities with toilet paper. Very warm welcome thanks to a friendly young couple. We will return, and I recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Very good campsite, recently taken over by very friendly and hardworking young people. Clean, well-maintained facilities and spacious pitches. Close to the town center and cycle paths (we recommend Sancerre, 14 km away via the cycle paths), and near the Loire.

Stopped for one night, with a late welcome (arrived without difficulty at 8 p.m. after calling beforehand). Very warm staff, very clean sanitary facilities (with paper, thankfully), and pleasant surroundings.

It is not worth 3 stars. During my 3-week trip I changed campsites every day; the municipal campsites I visited were much better (pitches separated by hedges, hot showers immediately, etc.). Mr. Manager, I don't know what the criteria for 3 stars are based on, but it is not worth them.

What a shame... a beautiful setting, large pitches, and peace and quiet! There is potential, but it really lacks maintenance. A barrier is broken, one sanitary block is broken too, and the common room is dilapidated... It is fine for one night but no more! €25 for 1 van, 2 adults, and 2 children.

Very nice campsite, spacious and often shaded pitches, adequate sanitary facilities, and a friendly welcome. We spent two very quiet nights here.

We spent 4 nights at the end of May 2025 in a motorhome. €15 per night without electricity. Large campsite with large pitches. Easy check-in. The town of Cosne is nearby, with very large markets on Wednesdays and Sundays. I highly recommend this very well-maintained campsite.

Quiet campsite, shaded for those who want it. €18.88 for 2 people with electricity, €15.88 without electricity. Dog FREE. Sanitary facilities not very modern but clean. The lady at reception is very kind and pleasant. We will return.

Simple campsite by the water. Choosing a pitch is uncomplicated, the welcome is warm and competent, the pitches are very large, and the surroundings are quiet. The sanitary building is somewhat drafty, otherwise everything is fine. Gladly again.

Simple but functional campsite on the banks of the Loire for €18 per night with electricity outside the high season. Dogs are free. There are very lovely walks, especially by bicycle. Going to Sancerre is a must, as the view is so beautiful.

The pitches are large and pleasant, with a beautiful view of Cosne and the Loire. Very friendly welcome and a small gift for our dog.
