Asinerie de Lescun/ Sauma

Great view, great welcome. The owner takes the time to explain things to the children and give us advice on local hikes. We were parked at the foot of the donkey farm, among the donkeys, much to the delight of children and adults. Appetizer platters and craft beers to taste.

The place is very small and when I arrived the front of the place was taken by another van. I was kindly shown to the back area which was full of donkey poop and dusty. Not the donkeys fault but i decided not to stay. I am sure the farm is lovely and so are the hosts but in my opinion not worth it as an overnight stop.

We stopped at the donkey farm on September 7 and were given a very warm welcome by Julien and Mégane. It is a lovely place, among the animals and with a beautiful view of the mountains. The tortilla sold at the small snack bar and the cheese from the shop are very good. Stop for a visit or for the night; it is well worth it!

Another farm where you feel like staying! Thank you for offering this service. Among free-roaming animals, all more adorable than the next. A stop at the bar and shop is essential!

Great view, very friendly and passionate staff. We loved seeing these animals up close. There is a toilet and a tap available even at night. You can taste regional specialties while enjoying a wonderful sunset over the mountains. It is possible to fill your water tank.

Julien and his team gave us a very warm welcome. A place to discover without hesitation. Peaceful, with a beautiful view over the lovely village of Lescun, the cirque and the surrounding area. They are very friendly and passionate people. Claudine and Claude

Ignore the stars, we haven't been yet, but no doute it's wonderful. C'est plutôt pour les propriétaires, attention que le site de booking pourrait donner l'impression de demander €7 par personne - en fait, s'il s'agissait même de sacs de ciment, le plus-ou-moins truc aurait toujours cette image de gens dedans. On a bien juré avant de rendre compte.

In defense of the German speakers: we found it. Entry is no earlier than 4:10 p.m. and normally only from 6:00 p.m. You can park and wait before the entrance. The owners are super nice and also speak good English. If you are in the area, enjoy rural life and love donkeys like I do, this is the right place for you! Food, beer and wine. Everything delicious and available.

A beautiful view of the Lescun cirque. A nice little bar serving good local products. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. A lovely place to discover with children, who enjoy the presence of the animals. Fine gravel parking, one toilet available including at night, and a small shop in the afternoon. The flies and dust are part of the farm scenery :-)

An english speaking Person who doesn’t know when 1/6 begins und ein deutschsprachige der immer sofort ans telefon geht devraient être honteux de donner cette note. Moins que 5/5 n’est pas possible dans cette havre de paix. Bonne continuation

Always open! Great welcome and peaceful, right in the middle of the Lescun cirque! (7 m motorhome, access possible)

Found the barn on the picture. But ther where no signs of parking. There were no people present. So we drove away again

10 stars if we could give them. Fantastic place with a magnificent view of the mountain and surroundings. The staff are very kind and helpful. I recommend it to all motorhome travelers; you will be delighted. Many thanks again to this place and its staff.

Fantastic pitch with a view of the Lescun cirque. The welcome is excellent! There is even a bar where you can eat and toast with local products from the valley. The proximity of the donkeys adds even more authenticity to the place. We can only recommend stopping at this donkey farm.

5 stars because it is impossible to give more. Incredible spot: grandiose views, peaceful, extremely friendly and accommodating welcome. In the evening, you can enjoy the bar with charcuterie and cheese boards. Visit the donkey farm and browse its cosmetic and culinary products. PERFECT! We will gladly return for a few games of Uno. Wonderful spot! An incredibly warm welcome, thank you Pierre! There is a bar where you can enjoy superb local products. The parking spot has a fabulous view; it is flat and very peaceful. We have wonderful memories and are leaving with lots of great farm-made cosmetic products! Thank you!

Julien and Pierre warmly welcome us to their donkey farm. They gave us an explanation of the operation. They also offer food, including a charcuterie platter and roasted Camembert accompanied by delicious Jurançon, among other things. A pure moment of happiness spent at this farm.
