This free, discreet tarmac parking area at Arcachon cemetery is intended for daytime use. It is quiet and about 15 minutes on foot from the beach and centre through a beautiful park. There are no services. Access is narrow, suitable for vans up to 6 metres, and difficult to turn around with large vehicles.

We were greeted by the police who said we weren't allowed to stand here. No fines or anything but they seem to have an eye on this place.
