Pondside, blocked access

❗️Unfortunately, we couldn’t enter because the access road was blocked by a tree that had fallen across it.

Beautiful spot near a picnic table and an old mill, with a breathtaking view of the pond! In the middle of nature, with lots of aquatic wildlife and a real feeling of being completely alone in the world.

Peaceful, green, well-maintained place. The barrier was open (2 m, I think), and we slept right next to the picnic table. It is flat. You can walk around the small lake. Perfect!

Nice place! A fishing warden or national guard representative reprimanded us for being there! Not friendly at all and unwilling to talk... Really disappointing in such a remote place!

Pretty, quiet place. There is room for two or three motorhomes before the barrier. The mayor came by and told us there was no problem.

Very pretty, peaceful countryside spot. The barrier was raised. Flat ground.

Very quiet spot with few walkers. We preferred to sleep before the access path to the mill, in the recess under the oak tree on the right as you arrive. The spot in front of the mill is in full sun, with not a single tree for shade. With temperatures of 34°C, we preferred the shade of the oaks. Lots of flies and horseflies today.

The ideal place. The barrier was open and we were able to spend the night near the old mill. You get the sound of water and frogs croaking. There is a picnic table and a bin, so please do everything possible to leave the place spotless. Fishing was prohibited during our visit, so we saw nobody.

Stayed one night, very quiet and nice. Some fishermen turn up early so don’t block anything. A good place for a rest
