Avenue de la Brière, 44350, Guérande
Been here?
CAMPING-CAR PARK motorhome area near Guérande's medieval walled city, 1km away and walkable. €16.80 per night with tax and services included. Most spaces are on grass that requires levelling with wedges. Large, well-delimited spots; 10–15 minutes on foot to shops and the city centre. A nearby busy road can cause noise depending on pitch location. Grass maintenance is inconsistent.

Convenient for visiting the city on foot or the salt marshes by bike. The pitches are mostly on grass and not very level, but wheel chocks solve the problem.
Lots of sloping spaces because they are far from the road. Watch out for the holes, though... Very convenient for visiting the medieval town, 10 minutes on foot.
Well located, close to the medieval town on foot. A busy, somewhat noisy road. It depends on where you can park. However, the pitches on grass are not well maintained.
Good site for visiting Guérande; the road is not too bothersome at night, but maintenance is lacking and the grass is not mowed very often.
Very well located site for visiting the medieval town of Guérande. Fairly large pitches. Not too noisy despite a major road right next to it.
Pleasant site on mowed grass. €16.80 including tourist tax and services, 10 minutes on foot from the fortified town. The only drawback is being beside a busy main road; choose your parking spot carefully to hear fewer cars. Bins at the exit. Thanks to the town.
They mowed the grass today! Everything is fine, close to the historic center, excellent location.
We have just arrived and are a little disappointed by the site's lack of maintenance. We should have brought our lawn mower. Otherwise, the pitches are fairly large and delimited.
Not very well maintained, little shade, near the road but fairly quiet at night. At this time of year, it is not yet overcrowded. It is not very far from the medieval town, which is worth seeing, even on foot.
Very good, attractive pitches, well located 15 minutes from the center. Excellent services, not too noisy despite the road nearby. The spaces are slightly sloped, but overall good.
Well located for visiting Guérande, 15 minutes on foot from the medieval town. Close to shops. Parking with paved and grassy pitches. The grassy ones really need maintenance and mowing.
Excellent waste and water services. 15 minutes to the beautiful town center. Quiet night despite the nearby road. The grass should be mowed.
We spent one night. The site is not well maintained. The services are okay. Bins at the exit. Ideal for visiting the town of Guérande.
Impossible to park here; very poorly maintained. Avoid.
An almost unpleasant place. Very dirty and poorly maintained, right beside a busy road, with a large construction site opposite. Guérande is a beautiful town—and this site now seems to be the only possibility for motorhomes. With some maintenance and noise protection, more could be made of it.
A dirty wasteland, a repulsive site, and on top of that it stinks! The wastewater services must be on strike. Bravo Camping-Car Park! We love Guérande but not your new dump, Mr. Mayor. Since I do not use electricity, I prefer to pay €10 for the day and park at the EasyPark opposite. Thanks to the printing works.
Good for visiting the old town. Near a roundabout, poorly maintained site, illegal dumping of glass. Services okay.
Very well located site; just park toward the back and the traffic noise is not bothersome. The overflowing bins urgently need attention—we will soon no longer be able to enter the site, which is set back from the town, hence the forgotten waste collection! A shame, but the site is large enough not to be bothered by any possible smell.
Convenient because it is close to the center, but the bins are overflowing at the entrance, with a pile of glass bottles. It was not hot, fortunately, because the smells would have been awful.
It is really very ugly, but close to the town.
Warning: currently, about half of the electrical sockets do not work because a vehicle tore out a hookup and tripped the network. In addition, there is a building construction site directly in front of the entrance, and I think weekdays will be very busy with vehicles and noise. The site is not very glamorous, but at least it exists.
Site managed by a private company. You have to pay €10 for emptying services, and since the parking area was full, we could not enter.
We stayed here for one night to visit the beautiful town. The pitch is simply too noisy and neglected. The bins in front of the site were overflowing, and it did not look as if they had been emptied in the previous days. The pitches were very uneven.
Very good for visiting the town, 20 minutes on foot; the services work well. However, the proximity of the road and roundabout is not great for sleeping. There is no glass container, and rubbish collection should be more frequent. Nevertheless, this site deserves credit for existing.
Usual camping car park standard which the French don't seem to mind does the job luckily the Medieval town is beautiful. Noise from the road.
Construction work all around. Very good for visiting the town, but for spending some quiet time in the motorhome, no thanks.
Terrible: sloping, poorly maintained, holes everywhere on the pitches, fallen electrical hookups, a party on the neighboring football field, plus the smells—all for €16.40 today. We have come for the third year, but this is the last.
Quiet area on the outskirts of Guérande, spacious pitches, water and chemical-toilet services in good condition. A 15-minute walk from the town center.
€16.30. Too expensive and too noisy, while the five-star Domaine de Bréhadour campsite 1 km away costs €17 with the ACSI card. There is no hesitation.
This is a very nice, clean motorhome site, but noisy, as it is immediately beside a bypass road.
Spent the afternoon of May 31 until the morning of June 1, 2025 here. Everything clean, grass mowed, bins at the entrance okay. Site fully occupied! Water collection at the service point only with a Camping-Car Park card. Perhaps the reason is the new site with about 15 spaces next door, the printing works' parking lot, without electricity or services, for €10 per night, payable only via the EasyPark app. The medieval festival in Guérande is on June 7 and 8, 2025!
The worst site I have seen at Camping-Car Park so far, and I have already seen more than 62. We looked at the beautiful town center and then drove straight on.
I give the one star for the beautiful old town. The pitch is completely neglected. There are only a few spaces where you can still level with chocks. At least the pitches should be mowed. Broken bins lie in the ditch and empty bottles are piled up. Unfortunately, we have already seen several completely neglected Camping-Car Park sites.
Very busy road nearby, grassy pitches poorly marked because the grass is tall and unmowed. Entrance terminal out of order; we had to call Camping-Car Park to get in. Despite the traffic noise, the site is acceptable but should be better maintained, especially at €16 for 24 hours. There is no choice because in Guérande you can park a motorhome during the day but not at night.
Noisy building site next door. Maybe will return when it is finished.
Level site beside the main road and not far from the town center. Better to park at the back left, away from the road noise. The site offers all services and electricity for €16 per 24 hours. Small shops 1 km away in the town center. Cycle paths and small roads allow you to visit the fortified town, the Terre de Sel shop, and of course the salt marshes, 15 km away.
Hello, a free and noisy motorhome area—we accepted that. But today it is paid, with the added road noise right next to it, €14.20. Polka prefers to move on, although she would love to go to a restaurant.
Clean site, but not the best: the road behind it and construction work right next door. Just one night and then we left.
What a shame; for years this site was free. Renovation could have justified making it paid. Many Camping-Car Park sites are left abandoned, and the price is high for the service.
Good place for visiting Guérande. However, it is close to a main road; at night it was fine. Level.
Rather large, well-spaced pitches. Very noisy because of the nearby major road. Construction zone at the entrance; jackhammering from 8 a.m. Bring earplugs.
To be avoided; not worthy of this beautiful medieval town.
Not worthy of the operator. Avoid, unless you want to visit the town.
