2 Pils iela, 2015, Jūrmala
Been here?
A large, free parking area near the beach and train station, with a grassy section and space for larger motorhomes. It is convenient for visiting Jūrmala and reaching the centre by train, while the beach is only a few hundred metres away. Daytime noise and traffic are common, but recent stays describe quiet nights, although church bells may ring hourly. The Jūrmala entry toll is 5€.

Nice place near the beach with a large grassy area. The train station is nearby, making it easy to get to Jūrmala centre. A quiet and safe place for an overnight stay.
Very good for walking on the beach and sightseeing. Arrive in the early evening and leave before midnight, because of the city tax! There was space.
Noisy, but sufficient for one night.
Very good for visiting the city. We did not sleep there, certainly noisy at night as mentioned in previous reviews. Warning: entering the Jurmala urban area requires a €5 toll, regardless of whether the chosen car park is free or paid. Coming from Riga, the toll is just before the bridge over the Lielupe River.
Yes, it is acceptable, but very noisy and not discreet. However, there is another free car park two minutes away, turning right when leaving. It is right next to the beach, very quiet and level. Much better.
Decent car park for one night. In the city centre.
Very noisy and busy during the day. But during the night we were here almost alone and it was nice to sleep here.
Big free parking place near to the beach and next to the train station.
Very good overnight option when coming from Riga! Despite the adjacent road and railway traffic, it was very quiet at night. From here, the beach is only a few hundred metres away.
We spent a quiet and safe night. With some care, the dilapidated paving slabs can be avoided.
Good spot for the night.
Good spot for bigger motorhomes. Quiet overnight although the church bells do ring out every hour. Handy rectifying spot (glass, paper, plastic) two minutes walk away on Rūdolfa Blaumaņa iela.
The car park is close to the main road and railway tracks, with cars and trains passing at night. The adjacent church also rings every 30 minutes at night. I cannot recommend this place for a quiet night.
