Shaded parking, narrow access

Approach is narrow, so passing oncoming traffic can be tricky. Stick to the right when entering the car park to avoid overhanging trees. The payment machine at the end of the car park accepts cards. There are a couple of bars selling food and some hiking trails. Dogs are not permitted on the beach area. Great place to spend the night. ✦Translating

I stayed here completely alone for one night. Very deserted and quiet. Lots of frog croaking and birdsong—nature at its best. From 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., you have to pay 1,400 Ft to park a camper. Beautiful pitch under trees, with a parking ticket required from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., costing the equivalent of €5. The fenced beach resort has toilets, rental boats, and a small children’s entertainment program. Very busy during the day in high season, so arriving early secures the best spots. A few stones near the shore, otherwise beautiful soft sand. No major road or railway nearby, as it is a dead end by the forest. Ideal for overnighting freely.✦Translating
