Free gravel parking, camping prohibited

Simple gravel car park, but absolutely practical for visiting Fjällbacka. Five minutes' walk from the centre and enough space even for large motorhomes. Many thanks to the municipality for this free parking option.

We parked in the very large free car park opposite, as mentioned in the previous comment. The town, 1 km away, is very pleasant to visit, and a hike to the Kungsklyftan gorge and Mount Vetteberget starts there. A short loop follows the blue trail. Magnificent views.

Level, spacious gravel car park without services, somewhat windier because of its exposed location. The old town is about 1 km away on foot. To the right towards town, parking is allowed for a maximum of 14 periods of 24 hours (14 days); it is a long-stay car park. Trailers may not be parked, however. Overall, a good base for visiting the town. Quiet night.

Five stars because it is still free; parking places for motorhomes in Sweden are limited, and usually not free. Unfortunately, there is no waste disposal. But it is excellent for one night, with people coming and going.

Great place for visiting Fjällbacka. You are in town or at the trail to Kungsklyftan within 10–15 minutes.

Free long-stay parking, a very large area that can accommodate vehicles of any size. There is a car park on each side of the road. The town is about 10 minutes away. We did not stay overnight; there is nevertheless a no-camping sign at the entrance.

There’s actually two car parks, one either side of the road. We parked in the right hand one (heading to town). Lots of room and an easy walk to town. Very little parking in the town itself.

Large gravel car park, free, ideal for visiting the town, 10 minutes on foot. We spent a very peaceful night there.

Ten minutes' walk from the village centre. Ideal for the Kungsklyftan hike. There are recycling bins at the back of the car park. We did not sleep there.

The sign says “Long stay parking, 14 days”; camping is prohibited, but parking is allowed and nothing prohibits parking overnight! There are two enormous, practically empty car parks. We spent a quiet night, apart from two children making noise with small motorbikes/quads around 10 p.m. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Motorhomes and campervans are not allowed in the centre. This car park is about a 10-minute walk from the centre, so it is ideal for visiting the town.

Very convenient for visiting the town. A maximum of 15 minutes on foot via the road. It is also possible to hike on Vetteberget and end up directly at the harbour.

Ok parking lot to visit the village, because there seems to be no other parking spaces where motorhome are allowed. This one is free and still close to the center. We were the only ones in November morning
