Lake parking, tolerated overnight

Very large, simple parking area. A parking fee of up to two euros is required only from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Very quiet at night; in the morning, you can swim in the nearby lake. We have spent a night here several times, including during the traditional Whitsun horse riding event.✦Translating

There was no parking meter here. The place is huge, fenced, without shade, and ugly. It is probably used in summer by visitors to the nearby pond. We walked around both in 30 minutes. Okay for an emergency night. There was quite a bit of rubbish on the site.✦Translating

Highly recommended. You pay €2 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The former gravel pits, Blue Eye and Green Eye, invite you to swim. You can also cycle to Germany's easternmost point via Biehain or cycle around the Quitzdorf Reservoir. The Becker bakery, 1.3 km away, sells fresh rolls and cakes early. The site is somewhat wet at the moment but not soft. Quiet, with only a few distant car noises. We were alone apart from occasional cars that did not stay long.✦Translating

Perfectly fine for one night. The water is just a short walk through the forest. Parking fee €2 for the day, no garbage bin or anything similar. But it does not matter: the lake is beautiful and quiet, and we were alone at night, with no noise. Ideal as a stopover.✦Translating
