Riverside picnic area, narrow access

Spent two nights on the grass beside the dirt path at the back of the parking area. The dogs did not come that far, and it was absolutely quiet. The children's play area is partly covered in sand following the severe January flooding.

This is a very nice site beside the water. It is easy to park, and there is a playground next to it and rubbish bins. The property's four dogs barked a little in the evening, but unfortunately from 6 to 8 a.m. the barking was almost nonstop. To get there, the road through the village is a little narrow, but a six-metre van can manage.

A very beautiful site, but the barking dogs are annoying. The access through the village of Rotoeira is quite narrow. We managed with a van and trailer. Better later.

This is a very quiet and pleasant place. The proximity of the river and dam makes it possible to observe birds quite well. The neighbour's dogs have a huge area to run in, so they do not systematically come and bark next to where you park. We heard one for fifteen minutes in the evening and nothing during the night. In the morning, it was our dog that was calling and provoked some barking. In addition, these dogs are not aggressive at all; we only saw two of them at the fence.

We came here because it was supposed to be quiet, but with five barking dogs trying to jump over the fence, I see it differently. We have a Crafter L2H2 and found the access road reasonable; I can imagine that with a full-size motorhome it becomes rather narrow. Otherwise, it is a beautiful paved site with a nice playground if you have children.
