Campingplatz Langballigau

Despite making a reservation and providing our overall length, we were not given a space large enough for us. Instead, we received an unfriendly welcome and curt replies. We drove straight on.

Good location. Price per pitch is reasonable. We paid €102 for three days for two adults and two children. Sanitary facilities fairly clean. Showers cost €1 for 5 minutes. The showers have very low water pressure. Staff very unfriendly. The receptionist seemed slightly overwhelmed and was very curt. The sanitary facilities apparently close completely for cleaning from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We will not return.

We were there in high season and although we arrived a bit late the staff (which speaks English) gave us a pitch in the crowded campsite. We had a pleasant stay and it was very quiet during the night. The facilities were clean and everything worked well, electricity is available too for an extra fee. The campsite is close to the promenade and the beaches and there is also a small ferry available.

Large campsite, very crowded, with only half of the sanitary facilities working, but the proximity to the sea makes up for it.

A great find, site has many longtime caravans and tourers are fitted inbetween, pitches are small but the location is everything! Clean modern toilets and showers Beach for swimming is just over the road, dog walks behind beach, several restaurants and we even had the World Cup screened live on the beach field!

We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful campsite in Langballigau. Everything was great for us, apart from the storm during the night. The on-site restaurants have something for every taste—our absolute favorite is the fish restaurant ...fischer.

Good location right on the beach—that’s about all the positive I can say. Unfriendly staff, very outdated but clean sanitary facilities, no infrastructure, and an outrageous Danish long-term camper in the first pitch who shouted at me to drive slowly even though I was moving at walking speed. One star is for the reasonable price of €25 for camper and two people. The second is for the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. I will not return.

Nice campsite right on the water. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing we didn’t like so much was having to insert €1 for 5 minutes of showering. But all in all, everything was good, clean and well maintained. Wolf

We stayed here for a weekend and were very satisfied! Very friendly people everywhere, direct beach access. Many restaurants, ice cream and more nearby, with good opportunities for beautiful bike rides. Great value for money! We’ll be back!

We were very satisfied. The staff was very friendly and competent. Good value for money. Delicious fish restaurant and snack bar nearby. Ferry to Denmark directly at the nearby harbor. Everything was great.

Large, beautiful pitches, €24 for two people with a motorhome and dog, without electricity. Good restaurants and free beach access, but no bread delivery or shop nearby.

Two nights with a van, one adult, one child, one dog, electricity: €38 (€10 deposit for the sanitary-key). In muddy conditions, I would definitely recommend staying on the gravel pitches. The showers (€1 for 5 minutes) were dirty, and a Danish long-term camper was sometimes outrageously unfriendly toward children. We don’t know whether we’ll return. The playground opposite is excellent!

We paid €19 per night for two people without electricity. Very quiet, friendly welcome and excellent sanitary facilities. Showers €1 for 5 minutes. We stayed for one night without booking in advance. We’ll be back.

The site itself was impeccable. The pitches at the front by the water are very narrow. For washing up and showering, you have to take a key for €2 per day and person, or briefly take one for a €10 deposit, then pay for the shower and return the key. Electricity costs an extra €3. We didn’t like the beach very much. It was full of seaweed and mixed with many stones.

Very nice, many long-term campers and right on the beach. Very friendly atmosphere. Showers cost an extra €1 per 5 minutes and cannot be paused to save time. Sanitary facilities very clean. Restaurants within 600 m are all very good and inexpensive. Clear recommendation!

We arrived spontaneously; friendly operators. Excellent location for the beach, with a large playground. Pitches are very narrow, every gap is used. Sanitary facilities partly defective. Fine for one night.

Good motorhome pitch at the campsite, motorhome pitch 2. There is enough space between neighbors and it is not as cramped as the pitches in front of the campsite. Very friendly operators.

We stayed three nights at €15 per night including electricity on the front motorhome pitch and were completely satisfied. Very good restaurants nearby, a harbor, a huge playground directly in front of the site, and the sandy beach right beyond it. Simply wonderful. The operators are very nice and make it possible for everyone to get a place. This was not our last visit.
