Camping Seeweid 50, 1716, Schwarzsee
Been here?
Small lakeside campsite dominated by permanent chalets, with a handful of pitches for motorhomes and vans, some directly on the Schwarzsee shore. Clean but minimal sanitary facilities, a small café/kiosk serving cakes and bread, and friendly, easy-going owners. Popular as a base for hiking, biking and swimming, though pitches are tight and it can feel full or cramped in season. Showers cost extra (1 CHF for a couple of minutes) and the operator refuses to allow grey/black water dumping without an overnight stay, even for a fee. Generally very quiet, though occasional helicopter or distant music noise has been reported.

Dream location, beautiful site, good sanitary facilities and direct access to the lake. One star deducted because many things cost extra. The location makes up for everything, though!
Excellent welcome, great snack bar. Very peaceful. Access to the lake. Beautiful walks.
They don’t offer the usage of services without staying overnight, not even paying. Missed opportunity as this is quite a remote location we would have liked to stay longer in.
Very beautiful site in wonderful surroundings. Practical sanitary facilities. A good starting point for swimming in the lake, hiking, cycling, and more. The small restaurant serves delicious dishes, cakes, and desserts. Super-friendly staff.
Although the campsite is very small and a little cramped, it seems adequate. But don’t count on the manager being flexible enough to let you empty your grey and black water tanks; he refuses, even for payment. A little sad!
Highly recommended. Nice staff, helpful and uncomplicated. Beautiful area for hiking and cycling. Gladly again.
Campsite full, unfortunately. But even more unfortunate is that they refused to let me empty my black-water tank, even for payment. Considering there is no dumping station in the area, it is truly disappointing.
Location 5* for access to hiking trails, sanitary facilities 3.5* (only 2 showers 1 CHF for 2 mins), small cafe on site. Not many pitches, mainly long term residents.
Beautiful site directly on the lake. Many permanent chalets on the site. The staff is very friendly.
Great location, however points deducted for the lack of service. Told to pick a spot over the phone and then next morning we were told that we were in the wrong spot. Electricity wasn't working. Very few travelling places, more like a permanent village. Not convenient for dogs. Very little space.
Beautiful site and a good starting point for hikes. We really enjoyed our stay and the peace and quiet here.
Truly beautiful place, nestled in the mountains, directly on Lake Nero, with countless e-bike, mountain-bike, and trekking routes, both in winter and summer. On 28 December, I paid 46 francs for two adults and one child, an average price.
Beautiful views. Friendly people. We didn’t have a reservation but thankfully they had space for our van. We came here after the Alpine Decent Festival which I’d really recommend!
