A quiet hiking car park at the forest edge on secure ground, 5 minutes on foot from Sternenfels. It has seating, a garbage bin and allows dogs, with plenty of space. The nearby road is clearly audible but has little traffic and becomes quieter after 23 on weekdays; a wood-chipping area is next door.

A quiet spot right next to the wood-chipping area. Walkers pass by occasionally. Although it is fairly close to the road, there is not a huge amount of traffic, and at night there is hardly any.
Lovely place, really quiet and with plenty of space!
You can clearly hear the road. It becomes quieter on weekdays after 11 p.m. Great starry sky and benches with a litter bin. Next to it is a wood-chipping area for shrubs with a fire-hazard sign. Concerning at 30 degrees on a lukewarm night. I slept surprisingly well. Yesterday evening we briefly heard some animal noises.
