A quiet private farm pitch near Appenzell with sweeping Alpstein mountain views, run by very friendly hosts. Water and electricity are included, typically around 25 CHF cash (Twint/euros sometimes accepted); toilets/shower may cost extra or be unavailable depending on the host's setup at the time. Only 1-2 spaces, so email or call ahead to book. The village is reachable on foot or by bike in 20-30 minutes. Dogs are not allowed, and no grey water dump.

Super beautiful view and a great starting point for many hikes. It is also quiet, located at the end of a dead-end street. Please register in advance. Payment can be made with Twint.
Great spot with electricity and fresh water and a very nice host. Very uncomplicated; payment is also possible in euros. It was a little unsteady on the hill in the wind, but we've experienced worse. We'd be happy to come again.
Spot with a magnificent view of the Appenzell Alps. The hosts are very welcoming. Water and electricity are available around the barn. Flat ground. CHF 25 per night / CHF 5 extra for access to the toilet and shower. We'll be back!

Great view and lots of birds and birds of prey to watch. Close to the pretty town of Appenzell, accessible by bicycle or on foot, where the Appenzell Museum is highly recommended. Many thanks to Brigitte for your warm and loving hospitality.

Very kind and friendly hosts. The pitch is beautiful, surrounded by grazing meadows, and very quiet, with wonderful views of the Säntis, Hoher Kasten and Appenzell. Hopefully this place will remain available for a long time.
Very nice owners. The two pitches are to the left and right of the shed. Water and electricity are available directly there. And best of all is the beautiful view and wonderful peace and quiet!
I spent my stay with a private host at the pitch in Switzerland—the view was breathtaking, I had complete privacy, and the host was super friendly. I highly recommend it!

Simply amazing. Monique and her family are very welcoming including the cat! You get a spot with a view where you can see the beautiful and calming Appenzell region. You get acces to a new bathroom which also includes a washing machine and a sink to wash your dishes. There’s also a table with flyers and brochures with information about the Appenzell region.
