Bazaar parking, steep tight access

This is a gravel parking area monitored during the day, with no motorhome services. Its location is convenient for the bazaar, castle, museum and citadel, but access through Krujë includes steep streets and tight turns. Fees are inconsistently explained, with recent reports of €7 for a few hours and an extra 1€ requested after a guard change. Dogs and mosque prayers may disturb the night.

The parking area itself is not bad, but €7 for a couple of hours is excessive. In addition, because we left after the guard had changed, he asked us for an extra €1, claiming that the €7 was only until 7 p.m. Obviously, the other guard had not given us this information.
The guard did not give clear explanations. He charged us €7 at 4 p.m. for 24 hours! The next day he tried to charge us another €10. It was the same guard. Avoid this parking area. Prefer the parking area opposite, although it is not listed on the site.
The posted prices do not necessarily apply. We drove in during the evening; the barrier was open and the machine did not issue a ticket. Instead, the attendant from the neighboring campsite or motorhome area followed us and mentioned completely different prices. Whether the sites belong together, whether he was simply collecting money, or whether he was rudely trying to lure us elsewhere remains a mystery, as he does not speak English.
Very well located, but be careful: he charges by calendar day, not per 24 hours. We arrived at 6 p.m. and paid €7, then slept there. The next day at 9 a.m. he asked us for another €10, so we left. It helped us for one night, but the night was mixed: dogs barked a lot, there was a prayer at 5:30 a.m., and there was a nearby, lightly trafficked road.
€10 for 24 hours. Very friendly attendant. Two minutes from the bazaar and five minutes from the castle. Flat, level ground. Close to a mosque, so the call to prayer wakes you at sunrise.
A great new motorhome area with sanitary facilities and a small restaurant is currently being built here. Today, while it was still under construction, we paid €10 for 24 hours. Excellent location for the bazaar and castle. The drive to Krujë is manageable. Our vehicle is 8 meters long.
The price board says campers pay €7 for 24 hours, but when you ask, you learn that this is the daytime price and that an overnight stay costs €14. Rip-off.
