Been here?
This is a relaxed parking lot beside a school on the edge of Jenischpark, useful for visiting Hamburg. The park is nearby, with a playground, and public transport is about 4 min to the bus and 15 min to the S-Bahn. Mornings are noisy and the lot can be full from 8 am to 4 pm, so weekends or school holidays are preferable. There are no toilets or other services nearby, and larger motorhomes may have difficulty leaving.

Ideal place for Hamburg, in the upscale Othmarschen district. Close to the Elbe and Jenisch Park. Waitzstraße, the famous street, is 15 minutes away.
School parking lot. Mornings very noisy. Difficult to drive out of in the morning when the parking lot is full.
We had a great, peaceful night, but there are no toilets or anything else nearby.
Very practical for exploring Hamburg by motorhome. We had a relatively quiet night. Very close to a fantastic park and relatively close to public transport: 4 minutes to the bus and 15 minutes to the S-Bahn. Small bins are available everywhere. However, we would only park here during school holidays; we are not sure how full it gets during term time.
There are surely better places than this one. It is a very quiet area; we chose it because it is outside the low-emission zone. It would be more convenient with a bicycle, which I did not have.
Great, quiet place for overnight stays. Bins available. We spent the long holiday weekend here and explored Hamburg using public transport. Since it was quite rainy, many spaces were free; otherwise it may be busier. Do not behave as if camping and everything is fine! We fit in easily at 7 m long without protruding, but that was the maximum length.
It may be okay on weekends, but this is actually the far too small school parking lot of the large high school directly next door. When seven car spaces are occupied lengthwise by one large motorhome and the bike racks of three vans parked across protrude into the lane, it is no surprise that the police will soon solve the problem. VW buses are okay; otherwise, use some common sense.
Nice place, we stayed for two nights. Lots of schoolchildren in the mornings, but not in a disturbing way. I recommend it! The parking lot is quite full between 8 am and 4 pm.
We spent a good night there, although on weekday mornings the place is used by teachers from the nearby school.
Nice and quiet place for an overnight stay. Beautiful park for a walk.
A nice place that will not remain available for long if, when I wake up in the morning, I see someone setting up chairs and preparing food on the parking lot under an awning. Then no one should be surprised when such places eventually ban motorhomes. Please do not camp; only stay overnight. And keep the place clean.
Okay on weekends, but don't arrive too late—or arrive very late. It is also used by day-trippers with cars. Larger motorhomes will have difficulty. The park is wonderful; by bicycle you can quickly reach the fish market, about 20 minutes away.
Parking lot at a school, very busy. It doesn't seem intended for many motorhomes. It is simply for local residents and school employees.
Very quiet location, excellent for one night. Very nice, but there are no sanitary facilities.
Great option for staying overnight in Hamburg. It is a parking lot, not a campsite, and that should be clear to everyone.
We stopped while passing through, not to visit the city. Sloping, crowded parking lot at school drop-off and pickup times, but otherwise very quiet. Very convenient for a nice walk in the adjacent park and along the banks of the Elbe. We enjoyed it, but it was complicated to reach because of road closures.
