This seafront parking area lies at the end of an esplanade, close to the city and beside a public park. Recent reports describe difficult access for motorhomes because of badly parked cars, trees, heavy traffic and limited space. After the evening crowds leave, nights can be quiet, but children have reportedly thrown stones from the higher rocks.

I have returned to this lovely place to top up my PTT toll account and buy a Turk Telekom SIM card for 1,200 TL plus 75 GB for 550 TL at the main office. In the shops they ask between 3,000 and 4,000 TL. If you have difficulty getting there with the satnav, it is better to look at the map and drive by sight. It is quiet at night, and the seafront promenade is beautiful. You can reach the main street in five minutes.Translating

It is a fairly pleasant place, a park where people walk, with a beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara. It is clean and quiet.
It is just end of the public garden which the locals walking and sitting till mid-night. Close to the city center. After midnight the automatic garden irrigation system gets activated. Be careful. Nice place for one night.
