Fir Tree Road, TN4 8AH
Been here?
Free car park beside a cricket pitch, with a 2m limit and a 4hr limit that is not enforced. It can be noisy early in the morning and until 23h, with no lighting at night, but bins and mobile signal are available. Turning is difficult for some campers; limited on-road parking suits larger vehicles. Public toilets are nearby during the day, and a weather-dependent coffee shop visits at weekends from about half 8.

Large car park, a little noisy early in the morning and until 11 p.m., no lighting at night, several bins nearby, mobile signal OK.
Nice overnight spot here. The carpark is very busy at weekends, especially during the cricket season. Easy walk down to the Pantiles, and Sainsburys/Lidl at the foot of the common. Good phone signal.
A beautiful woodland and nature-rich place to spend the night. It is wonderfully quiet and dark, with a little street lighting. There are also a few nice flat spots. Superb view. Right in beautiful Royal Tunbridge Wells, only 500 metres from The Pantiles—what a gem! Thanks for sharing and facilitating it! Note: the car park has a 2-metre height restriction. A taller vehicle can park along the roadside.
very quiet overnight, lovely views, trees all around. It was busy quite early with dog walkers but absolutely no issues with parking for the night. Great for an evening coffee out the back of our van too.
Convenient and free in a park.
