We came here for 1 night but stayed for 3. We had to force ourselves to leave! Idyllic, quiet and very friendly place. Being able to cool off in the river made it perfect for us. Thank you Patrick and Linda.Translating
We spent an excellent night in this exceptionally quiet campsite. Bicycles and kayaks are available for hire. We were just two vans, and the welcome was very warm. Singers in the shower, take note: the acoustics are cathedral-like, so enjoy yourselves!Translating
We spent two excellent days in this very quiet, pleasant, leafy and wonderfully shaded campsite—excellent during the heatwave. Simple, clean, and with a superb welcome from Linda and Patrick. Many thanks. Philippe and Béa.Translating
What more can be said beyond the comments already posted? A very beautiful place, and the welcome is both highly professional and genuinely warm. Don't hesitate to stop here.Translating
Lovely campsite near a village, with a supermarket, bakery and restaurant within walking distance. You can hire bicycles or a kayak. The campsite is beside the water. Very friendly managers.Translating
Very pleasant, quiet, well-maintained and very clean campsite. I highly recommend it.Translating
Beware there's no facilities for emptying toilet or grey waste. Quiet and pretty, with a "park where you like" ethos, so you can choose sun or shade or a mixture. A shame that vegetation and a drop down to the water means you can't see the river, even though it's only yards away. Lovely owners. 5 stars except for the lack of facilities Translating
Superb campsite. Warning: no facilities for emptying motorhome waste. But it is so beautiful…Translating
This is the kind of campsite we love: a very friendly couple running it, bread and pastries every morning, and very clean, well-maintained sanitary facilities. Beautiful walks to enjoy. We will come back.Translating
Very pleasant campsite in a green setting. The sanitary facilities are ultra-clean. Canoeing, bicycle hire, a small café and a basic grocery shop. Smiling welcome; the couple are charming. Perfect for visiting Angles. €8 plus tourist tax for a pitch without electricity.Translating
Excellent welcome. Impeccable cleanliness. It is the first time I have seen a campsite provide Sanytol in the showers. Take the opportunity to visit Angles, a few kilometres away—a magnificent village.Translating
Warm welcome, very helpful managers, old-fashioned camping atmosphere, very bucolic and peaceful. Large pitches, more or less shaded, without dividing hedges. Close to the Gartempe for walks or fishing. Pretty village. We had dinner at Restaurant “La Table Mailloise”; excellent gourmet cuisine.Translating
Lovely little peaceful campsite! Extremely calm, very spacious, with access to the river! Close to the village centre. Very nice owners!Translating
Very friendly welcome, relaxed atmosphere, unmarked pitches, lots of shade, close to the river but with limited access, canoeing available on site, and a few shops a few minutes' walk away.Translating
If you want peace and quiet by the water, with the possibility of swimming, this is the right place. The welcome is very pleasant, the atmosphere friendly, and the price fairly affordable.Translating
Very quiet campsite, to be avoided if you want entertainment, but perfect for relaxing peacefully. You will need to drive to Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The sanitary facilities are old-fashioned but clean. The owners are charming, and so is the price (€16 for two adults and a tent with electricity).Translating
A campsite like we love them: very friendly welcome, very clean sanitary facilities and showers. Peaceful pitch with beautiful trees. A small centre that is pleasant to explore. I recommend it.Translating
