This quiet parking area has four asphalt spaces beside the Ybbs, with audible water noise and direct access to the Ybbstal cycle path. There is a garbage bin, but no supply or disposal facilities; shopping is about 1.5km away. Vehicles over 7m may find the spaces too short. Waidhofen an der Ybbs and the nearby power station are worth visiting.

Basically a great idea, but the spaces are unfortunately too short for motorhomes over 7 meters.

Cozy spot next to the water.
Quiet, clean parking lot with few visitors, as the Schwellöd demonstration hydroelectric plant (old and new power stations with a fish ladder) can only be visited on guided tours from May to October, on the first and third Sunday at 3 p.m. The outdoor grounds are accessible, however. There used to be a small place to stop for refreshments directly below by the river.
Very quiet and clean place.
