This is a large open parking area with views of La Durance, but access for motorhomes was blocked by a tractor in August 2025. When accessible, several parking locations are available, including a larger lot next door. The area is now extremely noisy, with uninterrupted traffic throughout the night, despite the attractive sunset and nearby river views.

Extremely noisy! Even the excellent sound insulation of my van is not enough. If you like silence, stay away! It feels like sleeping on the ring road. Continuous traffic all night.
Impossible to access with a motorhome; a tractor deliberately parked at the entrance prevents motorhomes from passing.

a quiet place between the horse pond and the water
Two entrances, two barriers at 2 m. Around the racecourse, it is impossible: there are many Travellers and a gate, so I turned around as well.
Nice place, easy to access even for large motorhomes, with plenty of parking space. A minor drawback is that you can hear some road noise.
You can quietly hear the motorway, but also the river. Great for sleeping!
