Riverside lay-by, busy road noise

Lovely flat tarmac lay by on the edge of a main road. Good for 2 vans to park. 4* just because of close proximity to a main road which was quite busy and loud at times. Got beeped at around 3AM by a passing car. Overall would use it again. It’s clean and has a bin and signal which are great additions.

Nice stop,good signal 3 to 4 bar on o2. not much space, 2 vans at most. road a little noisy but not bad.

Lovely spot to park up. Aysgarth falls is a short walk from here, plus other great walks with lovely scenery right next to it. We didn’t stay here over night but parked here twice. We would stay definitely here over night, only issue, not much space to park & main road can be noisy.

A clean tarmaced lay-by by the main road. Due to our length 7.7m we parked horizontally as we didn’t want to block entrance/exit. The Kirbs are low so hanging over into grassy area not a problem. You’re right next to bridge over river which leads to a footpath (over fields) that can take you to the falls. About 2 miles. The night was quiet of traffic.

Very nice spot next to the river as well. Some road noise but very quiet at night.

Stayed here last night in a motorhome. Great lay-by, with a nice walk across the bridge next to the river. Fairly quiet, with occasional traffic noise; it got busier from 6:30 a.m. Nice tarmac lay-by and rubbish bin.

Great spot to walk to Aysgill Force on a circular route. Lovely pub on the way back!
