This parking area directly on the Hirtstein offers extensive views and is suitable for overnight stays. The driveway is narrow, although larger motorhomes have reportedly reached the large upper parking area. Stay on the main car park, as vehicles lower down may attract complaints. A restaurant is available at the hut but is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You can spend the night here quite well. As long as you stay at the top of the parking area, there is no problem. But if you park a little farther down, not directly in the large parking area, the hunter complains.

Wonderful parking spot! Quiet. Since we have already driven up here by bus, it is also suitable for larger motorhomes. The turning area is really large. The food in the mountain lodge is excellent too!!!
Great view of the Ore Mountains! The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Perfect for an overnight stay! The road is a little narrow but manageable!
