Been here?
A free parking lot near Riva del Garda is suitable mainly for cars and small vans, while vehicles longer than 5.5m may not fit. It is busy during the day, with spaces easier to find after 18:00, and lies beside a frequently used road. The centre is nearby, but overnight parking may result in a fine.

Very convenient because it is close to the town centre, but I got a fine because I was parked in a car-only area. I did not understand.Translating
Only one point, because there were so many inconsiderate campers. They extended one or two metres into the parking area because they were longer than 6 metres.Translating
Parking beside a very busy street, crowded in February at 6 p.m. Fine for cars and small vans, but quite tight for vehicles over 6 metres to get out. Perhaps suitable at night if the parking area empties by then, but it is not a dream spot for spending the night. Positives: children's playground, seems safe, and free.Translating
Perfect for visiting Riva and Arco.Translating
very safe parking lot with a park next door, the police stopped by and didn't say anything I was in a 6.4m van. Busy during the day, easier to find spots in the evening.
Nice parking area, somewhat busy during the day. I recommend arriving after 6 p.m. to find a space, as cars leave. It is near a football field with a bar open every day until midnight; there was no bothersome noise, and it felt safer. In two days, three more vans arrived. Nearby are a Coop, a pastry shop for breakfast, and a pizzeria.Translating
Free spot close to the centre. Felt safe and was fairly quiet at night.Translating
Free parking with no height or time limits. Other campers were present. It is designed as a car park and has little rear overhang space. With some care, I managed to park my 6.9 m motorhome; I recommend the area facing the motorcycle parking spaces. It is 2 km on foot to the lake. Suitable for daytime parking to visit the town and lake.Translating
+ free parking located by the stadium (there is a bar there with a toilet) + 5,5 - 6 metres campers should fit easily, although i saw bigger camper parked there + no height restrictions +/- 20 minute walk to the lake I used it for the daytime parking
Very quiet place to sleep. We slept in the car. There is a bar opposite the parking area that played music until late on Saturday night, but it was not very bothersome. There is also a hedge providing some privacy.Translating
Good large free parking area. We stayed several days with a 7 m+ van; the spaces were a bit short for us, but nobody objected. The stadium and carabinieri headquarters are next door. Police came every few days to check but gave us no fines. Close to a restaurant and petrol station. Good spot for visiting Riva del Garda.Translating
Clean place, perfect for one or two nights. The beautiful playground directly behind it is a great bonus. There is a bench and table for a pleasant breakfast. Wonderful mountain scenery. Very quiet at night.Translating
Very quiet night and ideal location. But be careful with vehicles extending beyond the spaces: the police came at 6 p.m. and issued fines. Our vehicle is 6 m; we asked the police if it was okay and he said yes, but asked us to lower our roof. We raised it again during sleeping hours and had no problem, but be vigilant.Translating
Perfect location for parents, right next to a shaded and secure park. Water fountain available.Translating
After driving around the town several times, we came here because several motorhomes and campers were already installed. Very quiet, although the bar has music until around midnight. Very long motorhomes extend beyond the parking area, but do not excessively interfere with others' manoeuvring. The lake is quickly reached on foot.Translating
We spent one night here in a T5 while passing through. You can easily get to Riva, and if you spend the evening there and only return to the vehicle to sleep, it is fine in my opinion. Noise is also limited.Translating
Good parking, but only if you have a small motorhome. Mine is 7.5 m long and I received a ticket on the second day after spending one night because the vehicle extended beyond the parking space. Be careful.Translating
Very good parking near the stadium, about 15 minutes by bicycle from the town. We spent a quiet night despite a football match yesterday and a musical evening.Translating
Excellent asphalt parking for motorhomes up to 6 m.Translating
The playground is somewhat noisy in the morning; otherwise, a good pitch in the town centre.Translating
Spent the night at New Year’s Eve. 20-30 min walk to center, which seems ok for a free spot. Several campers also spent the night. The spots are not very long, so we did fit with our van if 5,4 m. Quiet at night.
