4 Via Rodengo, 39037, Rio di Pusteria
Been here?
This is a parking area near a swimming pool, football field and cemetery, but access is narrow and a uniformed woman recently ordered visitors to leave within 3 minutes. It is generally quiet, although the nearby railway, trucks, hotel and local activity can create noise. The parking is free, some spaces are sloping, and the site is less suitable for large motorhomes, especially during busy weekdays.

Chased away by a very angry woman in uniform. We had three minutes to leave the parking area.
Excellent parking for staying overnight or during the day, next to a cemetery and near a railway station, absolutely quiet. We stopped to rest a little. Highly recommended.
Follow signs for P2. Access is quite narrow. Less suitable for large motorhomes. On Thursdays, the area next to the road and football field is full of cars belonging to residents and people working in the adjacent care home. We stayed with our small Fiat Ducato camper van behind the covered parking area. EasyPark costs €2.30 per day here. Free at night. Pizzeria Klause and the bakery were excellent. Motorway nearby. Nice village.
I'd say it's a really nice place. And quiet, not least.
Perhaps two spaces are almost level. The rest are too sloped to correct even with leveling blocks. It is quiet, but otherwise not really recommended.
Good place to spend a night. I felt very safe. Next to the football field there are some picking benches and it's quite flat. Otherwise it might be slanted. At 6AM some trucks arrived to discharge and the nearby hotel though.
We were able to park our 6.90 m motorhome straight and comfortably for one night free of charge. There is plenty of space at the weekend; during the week, the Italians are not very pleased with it. The access road is narrow. The substation and waterfall in the area are relatively loud, although the former is turned down at night. Bins, football field and a small swimming pool nearby.
Very good spot, quiet. We parked next to the football stadium with our motorhome; there are even wooden tables and benches for picnics.
