City parking, unsafe overnight

Parking not suitable for tourists, with suspicious characters constantly passing through at night. They threw objects at the camper next to us during the night, and the sun is already blinding early in the morning. We fled.

Parking not suitable for campers; take a space intended for residents. Each camper takes two parking spaces. Municipal police investigations are underway and fines are often issued. Some disturbed person even slashes tyres. Park where campers are allowed, without stealing residents’ spaces.

I stopped here today and fled. Apart from mosquitoes jumping all over you, there are many campers in an obvious state of abandonment. There are also vans belonging to scrap-metal collectors... In short, I started the engine and left.

Yes, not great. The payment system is unclear. Only old motorhomes and abandoned cars. Given the reviews, we are leaving.

I left my car there for around 10 hours, of course without paying. :) took the bus nr 1 to the end station. The place is used for old camper vans and car which are not in use. It felt spooky when I came back in the evening and defo wouldn’t stay there overnight.

Warning: campers are broken into and emptied here. The parking lot should be avoided. Anyone who still wants to park here should also be prepared for swarms of mosquitoes. Price: €1 per hour, and the parking lot itself is also suitable for large campers (7.5 m).

Definitely avoid! Our motorhome was broken into today.

AVOID!!! Infested with mosquitoes, impossible to leave the motorhome! My daughter was attacked by a swarm of mosquitoes in three seconds! Those with air conditioning can stay inside, in which case the parking lot is perfect, but with children we could not stay. What a shame.

We left our van here for the day while we explored Florence. It took us about 40 minutes to walk to the cathedral, though we could also have taken the bus. We felt comfortable here and also spent the night. Warning: lots of mosquitoes.

Ideal for visiting Florence. We arrived the previous evening and found a good spot for a 7.8-metre motorhome, with enough space. The night was quiet and we felt very safe.

We stayed here for several days and felt very safe. It is a large parking lot in a quiet, respectable residential neighbourhood. Many motorhomes belonging to local residents are parked there; I think we were the only visitors from elsewhere. It is not completely quiet—you can hear the train, but it does not run at night. At the back of the parking lot, a garbage truck noisily loads up in the morning between 6 and 9.
