Unnamed Road, 3560, Hemsedal
Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
A riverside wild spot for small vehicles, with bathing possible and a fire pit. Vehicles larger than a VW Bus may struggle to turn, while the narrow right-hand path has just enough turning space; no 4x4 is needed. The river is more noticeable than the nearby road, with occasional waterfall or dam sounds. The left path may lead to private property, and an abandoned, cluttered hut stands nearby.

Only suitable for small vehicles! Anything larger than a VW van will have difficulty turning around; there is already enough visible damage to the trees. For everyone else, it is a wonderful place. Drive towards the hut and you will be right by the water. The hut, possibly part of the power station, is abandoned and full of rubbish. Leave some dry wood for the next person and collect some rubbish so everyone can enjoy the place.Translating
After leaving the main road, you'll see two paths. The one on the left likely leads to private property (as shown in the photo); during our stay, there was a car there. The road with loose stones very limited space to turn around. The path on the right is better — narrow but with just enough space to turn around. Unfortunately, it's closer to the road and with some trash around. Translating
Beautiful spot directly by the river, where swimming is possible, with a fire pit on site. A 4x4 is not necessary for access; with a smaller camper, you can reach the spot easily. You can hardly hear the adjacent road, but you can hear the river coming from the dam. Please keep the place clean!Translating
