Unnamed Road, 15123, Camariñas
Been here?
A wild spot on a well-prepared dirt road between the English cemetery and Vilan lighthouse. It offers spectacular ocean, lighthouse and sunset views, but is windy, lacks shade and is slightly uneven. The area is clean, though the shorter beach path is thorny. A previous overnight visitor returned to find a side window broken, with nothing stolen.

What a view! Once the last sunset admirers had passed, we were alone facing the ocean and the lighthouse... Superb.
Great view! Somewhat windy, no shade, and the ground is slightly sloping. But very clean. Some pine thickets (please bring toilet paper and bury your solid waste!). Locals came by for the view or to walk their dogs and greeted us kindly. The shorter path to the beach is very thorny; the alternative via the road is about 1 km longer. Rabbits come out at dusk :-).
The site has a magnificent view of the lighthouse and the sunset. We spent one night here and went hiking from there the next day. When we returned, unfortunately our side window had been smashed, but luckily nothing was stolen. So be a little careful and preferably do not leave your vehicle there during the day.
