Natural parking, occasional night noise

The place itself is still beautiful. Unfortunately, it has not been as great as it was 10 years ago. Two Frenchmen thought it was a good idea to set up a tent to shower, and unfortunately there are always idiots who think it is a great idea to squeeze in between other vans at 11:30 p.m. and cook noisily at midnight. Places like this sadly lose their soul.

Spectacular. Let’s take care of nature so we can continue enjoying it.

Wonderful place, but it can fill up very quickly. PEOPLE, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR RUBBISH BEHIND.

Spot with a magnificent view!

Very beautiful place in the middle of nature. Level pitch. It is a shame that some people leave their rubbish behind.

A very beautiful place, but very crowded. The place was full, with vans continuing to arrive.

Beautiful first stop in the Spanish Basque Country, just across the border. Views of the sea and countryside with wild horses. On the other side, there is a view of Irun. Birds of prey fly over the mountain peaks. We found a nice, flat spot to spend the night.

Magnificent panorama, a perfect spot for watching the sunset. The place is very busy during the day, especially with sometimes noisy motorcycles. At night, however, it is very quiet. Despite the crowds, many spaces were still available. We spent a peaceful night before leaving the next morning.

The spot is magnificent: the views and walks among the pastures with cows and local pottok horses are a truly immersive experience in this natural environment. A few spaces were available early in the evening, but by sunset there was not a single space left. The drawback for us as van travellers is the lack of toilets and drinking water, although a site farther down has them. Quite peaceful.

The place is beautiful and has beautiful views. Unfortunately, some young people arrived at 1 a.m. in cars with loud music… A shame that they ruined our night, as we were very tired.

We spent the night here; it was very peaceful and relaxed. It is perfect for spending the night.

Beautiful place with excelent view. Cows and horses around. Anyway many people coming thehe. For night but also for night drink with view. So sometimes should be noisy untill night.

Stunning, even with foggy weather. We slept for one night, it was very calm and peaceful. Plus.. not many insects. We had some cute interactions with the horses and cows during our morning walk :) Keep it clean, cause it’s a dream.

Nice level place where we were about ten vehicles for the night. It was peaceful. The view is pleasant. Animals very close by. No rubbish bin.

Great views, level spaces, no services, little shade, lots of people and constant passing traffic from travellers stopping to take photos.

Beautiful views however so busy, 12 vans in a small space, lots of activity through the day including 3 coach loads of school children. Lovely walks but unfortunately there is human excrement, wipes and toilet paper scattered around, please only go there if you’re self sufficient, places like this won’t be around for long if they’re being abused!! No rubbish bins, take your rubbish with you.

A very nice place overall. In the evening there were a few local teenagers who were somewhat noisy, but they left again at 10:30 p.m. We then had a quiet night. But beware! When we went for a short hike for an hour at around 10 a.m., someone tried to break into our van, even though the parking area was completely full and many campers were there. Take care.

Wonderful views, but unfortunately there are no rubbish bins. Several campers gather here to spend the night. Arriving earlier still gives you a good chance of finding a spot at this time of year. Ruins to explore and large open pastures with cows and horses invite you to go exploring. The sunset is breathtaking!

One of the best places I have ever stayed. A wonderful sunset.

The view from this parking area is magnificent, but unfortunately people do not respect the place. The surroundings of the tower, from which there is a magnificent view of Hendaye, are used as a toilet. Before long, parking will unfortunately be prohibited here.

This parking is something special. You have an amazing 360 view, the ocean on one side and the mountains+valley+France on the other. like it's not enough there are cows, horses and sheep around that make this place even more magical. It might be a bit crowded but that's the price to pay, you can even enjoy the company of other van's adventurers.

Wonderful place among animals and beautiful scenery. We slept here on a Monday night; there were quite a few other travelers as well as some cars, which left fairly early in the evening.

Best parking spot I have ever been to. The view is amazing, the sunset is magical. Busy during the day but still, you can fully enjoy it.. lots of space !

A great place. Access roads are suitable for vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes. The view of the coast and inland is fantastic.

Magnificent and popular place, so there is quite a lot of movement during the day. Superb views. Day hikers and pilgrims are not a nuisance because they are only passing through. Very poor phone service. Downside: people arriving during the night and noisily slamming doors as if it were daytime, coming and going to urinate. No consideration.

Beautiful panorama, but no rubbish bins. It is just a parking area, and you will not be alone, but it is fine for one night.
