This is a fishing spot on the border with Russia, so customs guards visit. In spring, it is most of the time underwater, and rain can affect access. There are lots of fish and other places to stay nearby if this spot is inaccessible. Kayaking, SUP, and other watercraft are not allowed on the Nemunas without a permit; lakes are excluded.
