Been here?
A central paid parking area close to the city centre, suitable mainly for small campers because the spaces are relatively short. Payment is required Monday to Saturday from 8 to 20h, while overnight parking is generally tolerated without an explicit prohibition. Nights are often quiet, but traffic and occasional noise can begin around 6 or 7h, with some Saturday nights particularly loud. A bakery, restaurants and city facilities are nearby.

Great place right in the center. Indeed, a few larger spaces (we have a 5.40 m vehicle). We had a quiet night. No payment required between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. You can use EasyPark.Translating
Basically a great parking area right in the city. It is on a heavily trafficked road, though; at night it is completely fine, but traffic starts around 6 a.m. You are also not 100% sure how tolerated overnight stays are here: there is no explicit ban and nobody complained about us. As long as the parking area still has spaces for locals, it is surely okay.Translating
Avoid parking here on Saturday night. Too noisy. There were always people (some drunk) shouting and cars driving by at all hours.
Good place for one night with a small motorhome; 5.4 m fits comfortably. Very quiet at night, with some traffic from around 8 a.m., but it is okay. We bought a parking ticket overnight for €1 per hour so we could start the day relaxed. The bakery directly opposite is highly recommended.Translating
Very central parking area. We stayed overnight without problems. We bought a parking ticket during the night, valid until 9 a.m., costing €1. Fortunately we did, because enforcement officers arrived at 8:40 and handed out fines. There are rubbish bins, and a bakery is opposite.Translating
Very busy in winter, into the night. Suitable for overnight stays, but you do stand out a little here.Translating
Free parking from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., with overnight stays possible. Six spaces for campers up to 6 m and several more for 5.40 m or less. From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. there is almost no traffic or noise. Perfect for arriving late and spending one night. Pizzerias, ice-cream shops and restaurants are nearby.Translating
In a region where almost every single place have an overnight parking ban... this place is a lifesaver. Slept well! Traffic starts around 6am
Very quiet, short parking spaces, but I managed to park with 6 m. Toilet 200 m away towards the center, at the end of the street. Recommended for sleeping near the center.Translating
Quiet overnight stay, free from Sunday evening until Monday morning because payment is only required from 8 a.m.Translating
Right in the city and subject to charges on weekdays. We were there on the night before Sunday, and from 3:45 a.m. some strange people arrived, apparently having smoked something, shouting loudly before driving away in their cars. This lasted about an hour, then it became quiet again. About a 1 km walk to the Zugspitz railway station; we left the car here.Translating
Absolutely satisfactory for the price. Obviously right beside the road, but pleasantly quiet at night. If you plan to visit the city the next day anyway, it is perfect. Very central, with some reasonably level spaces. Remember to get a new ticket at 8 a.m.Translating
Quiet place for an overnight stay in the town center, without services and at a very reasonable price; free from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. The place is beautiful and worth seeing.Translating
Very convenient, quiet enough at night, no problems!
