Been here?
Grizzlybär is a private car park by a restaurant near the Dittligsee, with mountain views, a small petting zoo, mini golf and playground. Nights cost around CHF 10-17.50 per person plus CHF 2.50 tourist tax, not per vehicle, and can feel steep for what's offered. Free hot showers and toilets are clean but a short walk away, electricity is included, and there's no black/grey water disposal. Some pitches sit on a slope on concrete, near a road, with little shade; views are spectacular and evenings usually quiet, though cowbells and occasional pub noise can intrude.

Positives: superb unobstructed mountain view, a visit to the small petting farm and pleasant walks in the surroundings. Very clean sanitary facilities—showers and toilets—we were the only two vans. Negatives: concrete parking area without trees or shade, close to a busy road. Unpleasant welcome, with no explanation of how things worked, the dumping point, toilets, etc.
Magnificent view, a lovely manager who speaks French! Impeccable and pleasant sanitary facilities. Quite close to the lakes. A bus goes to Thun. However, it is a little noisy because it is close to the road, and in May the cows in the field with their bells make an impressive amount of noise! We stayed two nights; it was really convenient.
What more could you want! The pitch is beautiful and spacious. You are welcomed warmly. The toilets/showers are open 24 hours. Yes, there is a short walk to them, but it really is not far, and for the wonderful view and excellent location, it is absolutely recommended! The waterfall, which can be seen from the pitch, is also a seven-minute drive away.
Very beautiful place
Positives; away from the main town, between the mountain, and view of alps, good staff, close to the restaurant. Negatives: No lights at all, extremely dark, toilet is far away, campsite is on a road side.
Two stars—only because the view is phenomenal. The price of CHF 17.50 is far too expensive.
I read the various comments... so here is my comment about the cost: normally, a pitch is charged for the vehicle including two people. Therefore, this place is really too expensive! It is still a PARKING LOT!!!!
I wonder what people still want for CHF 17.50 per person per night. When you stay at a campsite or camper site, the sanitary building is not always next to the camper either. At night it is quiet and I am not really on a slope. The view in good weather is priceless. The toilets/showers are clean and pleasantly warm. Thanks for this place.
For what is offered, the pitch is too expensive.
Spectacular view. Very beautiful place to spend the night. Friendly hosts. The restaurant looks nice. Quiet area. Drawbacks: sloping terrain; simply too expensive for a pitch. CHF 15 per person plus CHF 2.50 tourist tax. No black- or gray-water disposal.
Very nice and clean sanitary facilities. I had a lovely evening watching the baby cows play in the field adjacent and a peaceful nights sleep. Thank you
Beautiful place, breathtaking view. New showers and toilets, large playground for children, restaurant. Great place for mountain biking or hiking.
AVOID. I completely agree with the previous review. CHF 30 for two people is far too much for the service provided. The electrical cables are covered in poor-quality plastic, and we could not connect. CHF 15 is charged per person, not per vehicle. No interest.
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. CHF 15 PER PERSON PER NIGHT is clearly excessive, considering that this parking lot offers ONLY a garbage bin and a power outlet. The shower and toilet are about 100 meters away behind the restaurant. For fresh water, gray water and toilet emptying, you are referred to the TCS campsite 10 km away. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
Very good place to sleep, super quiet during Holy Week, the owners very friendly and the views incomparable. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a little expensive: it cost us €15 per person, but that includes free water and electricity. Water can be filled from a tap beside the bar terrace, and there is no gray- or black-water disposal. Even so, it is very good for spending one night in Switzerland.
Loads of space! Very noisy at night because of the nightclub. Glass recycling container nearby.
CHF 10 per person, plus CHF 2.50 tourist tax. Electricity, toilet and shower included, plus road noise.
