SantAnna Camping al Mare

Very cosy campsite surrounded by mountains, and the sea is ACTUALLY reachable in 2 minutes on foot. The pebble beach is large, free, and equipped with showers and toilets. We had a large pitch; the showers are new, with rain showers, and hot water is included. Drinking water is available. For a 6-metre campervan, 2 adults and 1 child, we paid only €58 per night.

Pretty little campsite in a former quarry; the sea is reachable within a few minutes, with a beautiful pebble beach. Friendly welcome. €62 for four people in high season is reasonable. We got a pitch without a reservation. Clean, partly new sanitary facilities with rain showers and hot water for washing dishes. Bread delivery service. Highly recommended. Access with larger caravans and campers is rather difficult.

The prices are really steep. We paid €60 for the night, and they rise again during the season. The proximity to the beach is very good. Fresh bread can be ordered. The nearby railway line is very loud day and night. No grey-water disposal possible. The toilets have no amenities at all: no paper towels, hand dryer, soap, toilet paper—nothing.

Campsite with a lovely atmosphere and good location for the beach, town and train journeys to the Cinque Terre. However, there are some shortcomings in comfort, as already mentioned.

I cannot even give it one star! When booking, I was not informed that the site was unsuitable for larger motorhomes. Very poor access and, overall, the worst site there is. During our tour we always had lovely pitches and campsites. What a shame! Unfortunately, our payment was not refunded. Heike and Arno

Beautiful place… with some drawbacks. Unfortunately, there are no toilet seats, no toilet paper, and no hot water for washing up—and that for a considerable price.

No signposting and the entrance is in an improbable location. Prohibitive price: €42.90 for a van, 2 adults and 2 dogs. We also had to pay €2 in cash for the tourist tax. Electricity was included. In the sanitary block, there was no hot water for washing dishes. Otherwise, the men's shower block was excellent, with sockets including USB-C. Bread and pastries can be ordered the day before.

Nice little campsite! Sestri Levante town centre is very close, and the railway station is also nearby. The beach is reachable within 5 minutes through a tunnel under the railway tracks. The showers are excellent and new. The only problem is the men's toilets, which are almost exclusively squat toilets. The only two regular toilets for men have no seats.

Very nice little campsite. Through an underpass, you can reach the sea in a few steps. All the showers are new; the toilets are somewhat older but always clean :) We would gladly return.

I am not rating the campsite, but the online booking process. While travelling, I submitted an enquiry for three nights and received an offer from Santa Vittoria, which is 5 km outside Sestri Levante. Both sites belong to the same management. I did not notice this because I did not expect it, and the names are similar; I paid a deposit.

A very nice campsite; in five minutes you can reach a beautiful beach for swimming. Very friendly operators and very clean sanitary facilities. Fresh bread available by pre-order.

Great location for the beach (2mins walk through a little tunnel), lovely old town with nice bars & restaurants. Limited sunshine into the campsite as old quarry, perfect in summer, chilly morning and evening now. Renovations on gents showers ongoing, ladies completed & first class. 40 euros a night is pricey, however little choice in the area & no van parking in town. Really friendly staff.

The site's location is excellent! The staff are always friendly. The coffee in the small bar is fantastic, and bread delivery is available. The centre, with beautiful alleyways and excellent restaurants, is easily reachable on foot, as is the beach. Hiking and cycling trips are possible from the site. The women's sanitary facilities are TOP; unfortunately, the men's facilities are a FLOP and are apparently due to be renovated by next year. The price is therefore too high.

We spent two nights at this small but welcoming campsite. We paid €122 for two adults, two children and a dog. There is a little bar where you can order breakfast and takeaway dinner. The women's showers are brand new. Clean toilets. The beach is 2 minutes away and the centre 15 minutes on foot. The dog beach is also very close. It is humid, but for us the fact that it is not as hot as on the seafront is an added benefit.

Small campsite in a great location; a short walk along the seafront to the town centre is well worth it. Access to the sea is possible in 3 minutes through a tunnel. Sanitary facilities are very basic, without soap or paper. The pond-like stream at the edge smells unpleasant. We especially recommend the focaccia for breakfast.

We spent a week here and it was very pleasant. Very friendly and clean, but outdated. Renovations are still underway. Short walk to the sea, and great hiking possible up the mountain. The only issue is that the access road is very narrow.

The first year with the family was excellent, even though the campsite was basic and felt like the 1970s. The second year our pitch was in full sun, so we left one night early because of the excessive heat.

The campsite access road is very narrow and turning around is almost impossible. In the end, after visiting several campsites that were either closed or in totally overcrowded places, we drove away from the Ligurian coast.

Small campsite with a friendly welcome in an old quarry and a short walk to the sea. Light-sensitive visitors should bring earplugs because of the nearby railway line. The women's sanitary facilities have been completely renovated. This should urgently be done for the men as well. Unfortunately, we had a pitch under a lime tree, so the car now needs a complete cleaning.

Everything important has already been said here: the toilets really are not great, and the train echoes from all sides. The sound of the stream is pleasant, and the short walk to the beach is also a plus. For the price, we expected considerably more.

We stayed here for one night and paid €40 plus €2 tourist tax. The beach can be reached quickly on foot. You can order bread rolls for breakfast the next morning. At night, however, you can hear a spring or waterfall flowing, as well as the train. The showers are pleasantly warm, but unfortunately there was no toilet paper left in any of the toilets.

Great site - very close to the beach & pretty town. The showers were powerful & hot, the facilities were thoroughly cleaned once per day. You can order bread/croissants & it has a small coffee bar. The pitches are a good size - we were ok in our 6m van. It’s a narrow road to the entrance with no turning area, so may be tricky for a larger van. No grey waste, but has fresh water & black waste.

Well-located campsite for accessing the beach and visiting the surrounding area, well maintained, with a very friendly welcome. You can order bread and croissants, and there is hot water in the showers. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this campsite for people with disabilities, whether wheelchair users or others. There are stairs to access the toilets and showers, which is a real shame.

Tiny, but it has everything you need. Excellent location; with a walk or bike ride you are on the seafront. The owner is kind and welcoming.

For me, it deserves five stars because of its location away from the road. Even though the train passes not far away, you can hear only the sound of the nearby stream. Surrounded by greenery, the campsite is small and perhaps a little dated, but it offers all comforts: free hot showers, clean sanitary facilities, and an available, extremely kind owner. An underpass takes you directly to the free beach.
