The operators are very friendly and uncomplicated, almost like family. The site is clean and well maintained. Water and waste disposal and rubbish facilities are all excellent. For a small fee, they even let us stay until the evening. You need to find a solution for the showers so people do not steal each other’s hot water. Bräustübl and Böhms Lädchen are recommended.Translating
If I participate in Promobil’s pitch availability indicator, I should also keep the occupancy information up to date. I was there today, July 29, around 3:00 p.m. Half the site was occupied by motorhomes, and the other half by buckets marking reserved pitches. Thus, only three pitches were still available. I drove on.Translating
Lovely and very quiet motorhome site. We arrived late in the evening but had no problems checking in online. Payment for electricity at the machine worked without problems. Really friendly and helpful staff on site. We will definitely come again next time we are in the Harz.Translating
A quiet and well-maintained site not far from Thale. The operators are friendly and always available with advice and assistance. The gravel surface also promises easy access in wet weather. Toilets, showers, and water and waste disposal are available. We would gladly come again! We give the site five stars.Translating
We stayed there and felt very, very comfortable. Thank you to the owners.Translating
Very nice, quiet, and well-maintained motorhome site. Restaurants are within walking distance, and there is also a small shop in the village.Translating
The view and location are perfect, but the feeling of being constantly monitored by the operator creates an unpleasant atmosphere. He makes almost hourly rounds of the site.Translating
A truly exceptional campsite! Late arrival was easily possible thanks to the uncomplicated check-in. The innovative chemical-toilet disposal station is brilliantly designed. Everything is clean, orderly, and very well maintained. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful. The quiet location and excellent hiking opportunities make the site perfect. Highly recommended!Translating
Beautiful natural site with opportunities for hiking and walking, but the operator’s schoolmasterly manner is very unpleasant and negatively affected the atmosphere. Sergeant-like instructions are posted in several places around the site, for example, “Keep your hands off the blind, otherwise…” More relaxation and warmth would make the site excellent!Translating
Everything as already described! Great motorhome site, friendly operators. Toilets spotlessly clean. Hiking trails begin directly from the site. Bus stops 300 m away.Translating
I was here from May 13 to 15, 2026. Very nice operators, who helped us ignore the bad weather with many tips for hikes and excursions. The Hexentanzplatz can be reached on foot in about 1.5 hours. Quedlinburg is worth a trip, as is the Rappbode Dam. The site was almost fully booked because of the public holiday. The operators organized a buffet with delicious salads and excellent sausages.Translating
Everything as already described. Pitches are large enough. Easy payment via PayPal; electricity is paid for with coins. Many hiking trails in the area. At the end of April, there is nothing happening in the village. Easily accessible even in the rain.Translating
Quiet, well-located site. Currently €12, plus €2 for the toilets, which can be added, and electricity according to consumption. Tourist tax included; in return, you can use the bus for free from the nearby stop. A great deal. We went directly to the Hexentanzplatz, took the cable car to Thale, and returned by bus. Today we took the bus to Quedlinburg. Wonderful old town! The restaurant opposite is okay.Translating
Very nice site! We really liked it when we were there about two weeks ago. Friendly operators and everything very orderly. Good hiking opportunities directly from the site. Unfortunately, on the second day there was a party in a beer tent at the pub opposite, with loud music. Less than 100 m from the motorhomes, so we could not sleep until after two o’clock!Translating
Excellent value for money. Currently €12. The site cannot do anything about the €3 tourist tax per adult. Very helpful and active reception staff.Translating
Great motorhome site in a quiet, green setting. Very friendly and helpful operators. Everything a motorhome traveler could normally want. Many hiking and cycling tours are possible. We would gladly return.Translating
Friendly operators. Toilet always clean, but unfortunately there is no shower and no additional men’s toilet for bowel movements. Otherwise, the site is great. Friedrichsbrunn is unfortunately a dead village.Translating
Really beautiful site. I was there with my dog, who had no problems with the gravel and felt completely at home, just like I did. I stayed for a good week; people got talking to each other, just as you would hope with friendly operators. Absolutely recommended. Electricity is charged only for what you pay in advance, so it is a good and fair system. Thank you for so much fairness.Translating
For us, it was the perfect place. Why? Affordable and bookable, flexible times, large pitches, gravel surface so no mud, electricity at the pitch, good Wi-Fi, water at €0.10 per 10 L or €1 per 100 L, gray- and black-water disposal available for a fee and accessible to visitors, and paid toilets. Since we have a toilet on board, the rent is lower for us and it means less work for the operator.Translating
Dog-friendly, yes; dog-suitable, no! Our dog injured its paw on one of the large gravel stones. That was not pleasant. Ours was not the only dog unable to walk on the coarse gravel. Beautiful site, super-friendly operators, but the feeling of constant monitoring by the operator detracts from it. He makes hourly rounds.Translating
Super-friendly welcome, very nice motorhome site. We will definitely come again! A beautiful area with many tips from the operator. We spent a wonderful weekend here. Thank you!
We spontaneously and easily got a pitch for one night. The welcome and briefing were exceptionally friendly, even warm, and we felt very welcome. Many thanks again for the bread-roll service. The hike to the Hexentanzplatz and the Hexentanzplatz itself were great! The night was pleasantly quiet. We would gladly return on another trip to the Harz.
We were welcomed very warmly and received good information about the surrounding area. A very quiet, clean site, with a clean toilet and bread-roll service.
Very good place and very friendly owners.
We stayed at this site over the long weekend of Ascension and, as Clesana users, did not feel welcome. Although disposal is advertised as free on the website, Clesana owners have to pay extra. Every trip to the residual-waste bin was monitored, and on the day of departure we were again asked to pay €3.
Nice motorhome site, partly grass and partly coarse gravel. Perfect with a dog, as you can start hiking directly from the site. Very nice operator, everything straightforward, and also suitable for large motorhomes, from 9 m onward.
Beautiful site; you can start hiking directly or use the bus, which is included in the guest card. Super-friendly operators!
A very nice small motorhome site with a very friendly welcome. There are clean and well-maintained toilets, although there is only one toilet for men.
A great motorhome site! We stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable. You can safely leave your vehicle and set off directly. The Hexentanzplatz is only 5 km away on an almost straight route. I would definitely recommend it.
It is always lovely to be here. Everything a camper needs and friendly operators.
We were here in September and will return in 2025. A wonderfully quiet site. Very nice owner who gave me good suggestions. The price includes various discounts for local public transport. The site is ideal for dog owners.
Top site. Very friendly operators. Everything available. Ideal for hiking; dog owners are welcome. Very friendly operators. You will gladly return here.
We stayed at the site from October 30 to November 3, 2024. It is excellently located and invites you to go hiking. The operators are very accommodating and offer advice wherever possible. The toilets are cleaned several times. However, the campers themselves are not very conscientious about cleanliness and do not know what the toilet brush in the corner is for. Unfortunately, that happens too. THANK YOU to the operator team!
Nice site, nice female operator. Some pitches are quite narrow, and the toilets cost an extra €2 per night; for that price they could at least be heated. It was already very cold. There is a sheet with many rules at registration, but it is still okay. I would come again.
Beautiful site, very suitable for dogs. Very warm and friendly female operator who gladly gives tips for activities in the area. Very fair price. The only thing missing is showers, but they are being installed! We will return!
Unfortunately, we could stay only one night, but we will definitely return! Very relaxed and well-maintained site with a super-friendly and helpful female operator. €10 for the pitch is absolutely reasonable. The tourist tax for two adults and two children is not cheap (€9), but you can use the bus for free or receive other discounts.
It is a very beautiful, well-maintained motorhome site in a quiet location. You can walk the dogs directly from the site. The operator is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
